This unique item can be mounted to the top of a drum or tank and when the liquid level nears the top, the sensor opens a switch to shut off a control valve, pump circuitry, activate an alarm, etc. Mounts in a 0.40" hole (has threaded stud). The sensor itself is stainless steel and plastic construction so it is impervious to most common liquids. Size of plastic float assembly 0.96" in diameter x 0.98" long. Size of stainless steel sensor (excluding mounting stud) is 1.45" long x 0.32" in diameter. Has 2 foot long flexible wire leads.
