Automatic Adjust to any Carpets or Rugs .
Im so pleased with this direct drive cleaner. I was going to order this part thru Dyson . I looked up to see if Amazon sells these vacuum attachments. I was unsure if it works on all my carpets and rugs. It does fit certain Dyson vacuums. You have to look up what Dyson you have. I have the Dyson V10 Copper. For the price you can't beat it . I have two dogs . My border Collie sheds a lot and this vacuum part does the job. I have wooden floors and it works like a charm . Another thing i like about this vacuum attachment it automatically adjust to any rug or carpet. You dont have to bend down to use the button to adjust what level you want it on. I also purchase the filters and it's like I have a new vacuum. If you really want your Dyson to work like you first purchase it I suggest you to purchase the filters. You will notice the difference rt away. Im so happy I decided to give it a try . I made the rt decision. In the near future I will order more parts thru Amazon. Thank you Amazon for another great product. Now I'm going to vacuum my life away lol.

Fits great and does appear stronger.
If your Dyson V10 feels like the trigger is mushy and doesn't activate consistently, there is a 99% chance your trigger is broken.Stupidly, Dyson's official fix is a new handle assembly, so naturally I ended up ordering this aftermarket trigger instead. It's very similar to the original part, with some more reinforcement right where the plastic breaks.I have a lot of prior experience repairing home appliances, cars and electronics, so I'd rate the difficulty of the job a 3/10. You will need needle nose pliers, a long phillips, a long torx T8 driver and a small flathead for prying apart some of the plastic clips. Keep in mind screwdrivers with interchangeable bits will not work for some of the screws as a third of them are deeply recessed into the plastic and the holes will be too small for even a compact bit holder to fit. Thankfully, there are only 3 different sized screws used, so as long as you keep them organized, putting screws back in the right spot shouldn't be a problem.Start to finish I had the whole job done in about half an hour. If you're replacing this yourself, be extremely careful with the two tiny sense wires and connector that attach to the main board. The wires are insanely thin and fragile. Break them and you'll have a very expensive paperweight. I recommend referring to any one of the several Youtube videos showing how to do this repair. I did and the job went very smoothly.Once reassembled, the vacuum now works like new again and you'd never know the trigger isn't OEM. Time will tell how long it lasts, but based on the improved design, I'd say at least another 3 years of use shouldn't be a problem. For $10, this a no-brainer DIY fix that keeps an expensive handheld vacuum out of a landfill.

Absolute trash
I'm not one to write a bad review, but this is a piece of unmitigated trash. It rattled and looked cheap and poorly assembled straight out of the box. I used it for less than 5 minutes, and the plastic on the two ball covers on the sides are completely eaten up. It did not pick up the dirt on the floor. What it did do, was suck up the dirt and spin it, and shoot it out the back at high speed. The pictures speak for themselves. I will NEVER buy another off-brand Dyson head. Do not waste your money on this thing.

Nice replacement trigger
I would get the metal one if I had to do this challenging repair again, this one is nicer than original and reinforced but it's still plastic and the repair was tough even for an experienced repair expert like myself. I do recommend, it fit well and expect it to last longer than the poorly engineered original by Dyson

Great replacement
This place my head for the Dyson is extremely doable and I think it actually might work better than the actual original Dyson one it’s functionality in ability is great. It looks like there’s a hole to take the backing bar out to clean it easily, but I can’t seem to get it. Maybe there’s a way that’s my only downside is it? It’s kind of hard to clean because it may not be able to remove it however everything else is amazing

Solved my Dyson cutting out
Not the most straightforward replacement (thanks.. Dyson) due to the location of this part but I ordered this in hopes it would fix my issue and sure enough when I got it disassembled my original trigger was cracked, causing my vacuum to periodically cut out.Followed the instructions to swap and it's been working perfectly. Since this is a plastic part I can't comment (yet) on how long this will last before it cracks again, but at least it's revived it for another few years hopefully. I'm glad this part has been made available to consumers to keep our Dyson's out of the landfill. Those things ain't cheap.

Works great
Used this to replace the switch on the Dyson we have that had quit working. It fit like it was supposed to and works great.

Perfect Fit - A Pain to Replace
For some reason, Dyson does not build their vacuums to last very long even though they charge hundreds of dollars. Our V10 stick vacuum had a broken trigger and my wife was ready to just buy a new vacuum because it has had issues over the two years we've owned it. I watched a video on how to replace the trigger and figured I could do the repair myself and save tons of money. The part arrived quickly and I began the repair only to discover I didn't have a thin enough screwdriver to remove the final screw in the handle. The process was not difficult but it did take about 20-30 minutes (after I waited a day for Amazon to deliver a new set of screwdrivers). The trigger is a perfect fit and brought our overpriced Dyson V10 back to life (at least until another part broke).
