We R Memory KeepersMagnetic Mat

I have gathered various sized mats over the years from Dahle's high quality to no brand names, small to humongous, but this one is by comparison much heavier for it's dimensions and it is a larger-sized mat than most. At 24 X 20" it is more of a welterweight. I've no scale large enough to test this but it seems heavier than 1.76 ounces, then again I also have arthritis in both thumb joints which may have made it harder to hold on to. Once you get this flat on a surface it is unlikely to move much which is good. I believe the weight is due to an inside layer made probably of a sheet of metal because in order for magnets to stick it would need this. The included ruler is metal with a slab of thick stick on magnetic material which supports my theory. The mat itself is not magnetic as far as I can tell dispite the title of Magnetic Mat.They supply 4 tiny strong magnets but not diaminium magnets like some craft items use. This may be a blessing for moving pieces around on the mat, but not making them overly stationary. With this stuff it really depends on your use case because I like these mats but I like having a glass magnetic mat to use as well. Over all I would recommend this product to anyone into crafting cards and possibly other projects. I have other craft items by this same brand and they are all well made and sturdy. Mine had arrived damaged but that was due to a case of soup cans packaged with it, the blister package it came in is otherwise very sturdy and should serve as a great way to store the mat while not in use. I'd hang on to this if you have the room for it.

This magnetic mat is amazing and great for holding items in place when cutting. I cut a lot of vinyl which tends to be curled fron the rolls - not a problem with this mat. The ruler is quite strong as well as the extra magnets to hold corners down.

Love it. Just the right size plus we are making memories. Makes the best things.

The pink one is not the pink one. I don't know what's going on. I've ordered the pink one multiple times over the years and I always get the green. So just assume you're most likely going to get the green. I'm dinging a star for that.That said, the green one is wonderful. The magnet connecting the ruler to the pad is fairly weak. Mine has fallen off and gotten lost in many coffee shops and parks (thus why I've ordered this many times over the years). The ruler and the mat both support inches and centimeters, which is nice. Inch measures go as small as 1/16th.The mat is small enough to fit into most carry cases. I keep it in my urban sketch bag and partly that's because it makes a nice drawing surface. I can put it wrong side up under the page I'm working on in my sketchbook for extra support when I need it.I use it for art journaling and quilting and it can stand up to X-Acto knives and rotary cutters without an issue.

Magnet holds very well, I love it

I love this mat. You can use it just for a sturdy work surface, paints or other mediums and it is super easy to clean. I used to get adhesive in a black soft mat and it was hard to clean. Just keep some baby wipes close and everything cleans right off.The plastic corners don’t stay on, so I chucked them but it stays in place without.

This was perfect for what I was looking for. It keeps the memory printer straight when printing with the magnetic rulers. I love how the board is magnetic

I have had a few magnetic work pads but none have had the strength of this one from We R Memory Keepers. It makes printing on small surfaces with my Printmaker a breeze. Small labels stay in place with no sliding. Great product!
