Fatboy Doggielounge, large dog bed - black

It's a little slippery but is very well made and looks so much nicer than other beds.All you can find are brown and tan and really ugly colored beds. I was so relieved to find this one that doesn't clash with everything in my house. It is currently summer so the dogs are enjoying this bed over the others...likely because the material is a little cooler than the others. It isn't as soft as other dog beds...its bean bag filled and the material is a more slippery and sturdy material...but my 75 pound poodle enjoys it.

I love Fatboy products! We've used this bed in the past and have owned many Fatboy products over the years. I love Fatboy! The reason I marked it so low is to warn you that the company distributing the product is not sending the correct covers with the bed. I ordered a Large bed with a black cover and received a patterned cover. I requested to receive what I ordered and they sent me another bed with the same patterned cover. In the end I had 2 large boxes with the wrong covers. Amazon did a great job planning pick up of the beds and returned everything without a problem.If you want to buy a Fatboy dog bed, do it from Fatboy directly. The cost is the same, but it may take an extra week.

I bought this bed to keep in front of the window for my dog's to lay on. so far, and it has been quite some time since I purchased it, it has held up above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend it to all.

the product is as described, but my pug dog has no interest in it.

Basset hound loves this bed...it is our second! Just remember to remove the cover and don't put in the dryer or else the vinyl coating will decay and the bed will lose its water resistance.

Looks cool, but my dog definitely didn't dig it

After years of looking for a dog bed that would stand up to my Great Danes, I was thrilled to come across Fatboy Dog Beds on Amazon. Reviews across the web are mixed, but there were enough negative reviews that I should've taken heed before plopping down big bucks on these bricks disguised as dog beds. I gave it my best shot, but unfortunately I'm returning them today. I've no doubt that the cover would stand up to accidents, my female Dane scratching before she lays down, or my puppy dragging it across the floor. However, that's where the positives end on this product. First, the material is so slippery that my dogs were extremely hesitant to step on these beds. At first I thought they were just wary about something new, but when I tried them in the car I saw firsthand just how slippery the fabric is when a slight tap on my brakes had my 100-lb Dane puppy sliding right off the bed and into the back of my driver's seat! Moving on to the stuffing, I've read other reviews about how some dogs didn't like the sound of the filling. However two of my Danes are deaf, so the sound wasn't a factor. I'm not sure what these beds are filled with, but it feels like a bean bag chair. When they finally did lie on them, the stuffing would shift under their weight, sinking the part they were on and raising the other sides up. Picture someone on one of those floatie tubes in a pool - middle submerged under their weight while the ends stick out above the water - and you get the idea! I had to constantly keep fluffing them up. Still, I wanted to give these beds the benefit of the doubt... not because I really thought they'd work but because I'd already thrown out the boxes they came in and didn't want to hunt for a box big enough to return them. SO, my next step was to make a cover for them. The new cover (denim fabric topped with fleece) didn't help, so these beds are going back. Great Danes Ari, Atticus and Atlas give two paws down to this bed for being too slippery, too hard AND too soft all at the same time!

Product to avoid, it is a very nice product but last 2 weeks before holes appeared at different places. Try to get a replacmentas I thought it was a problem with my Doggielounge. The company refused, even after 2 weeks only. Way to expensive for the quality of the product. I have other FatBoy products and never experienced such bad situation. One STAR because the product is very nice but don't let any one touch it.
