Absolutely saved my life postpartum! Perfect fit, not too cold that it was unbearable, soothed and also caught any fluids leaking as well. Worked as a pad and ice pack. Easy to use. Just had to work the beads to one side and squeeze. It’ll have a little pop and then shake to make cold. Loved loved loved. So much relief from the pain, and better than what the hospitals give you. I would highly recommend to just buy in bulk. Will be buying again next pregnancy.

these are great for perineal but did not get cool enough to help with c section pain if buying for easy ice packs for that.

I like these they were cheaper than others and work! Only issue is they are very hard to pop. The directions say to bend and pop but I twisted it instead and they worked! Hard to do when ur in pain after giving birth but worth it.

Exactly one of these pads worked for me. The rest? Didn't activate at all. My only options via Amazon were to return for a refund or replacement -- which, yeah, being postpartum and in pain with a one week old isn't exactly high on my husband's or my to-do list. Not to mention, this is a DEFECTIVE item, so why the hell am I returning it when it should be thrown out? Expensive, too -- $30 freaking dollars.Please do not buy these.

I recently gave birth to a premature baby who had a NICU stay. It was a forceps delivery and I had second degree tearing. I also had some complications with healing and so had extended pain, which was really difficult in the NICU as I couldn’t be in bed to heal and had to sit in very uncomfortable chairs for my situation. Spending most of my time in the NICU, I wasn’t at home so I didn’t have the option of homemade padsickles. Instant ice pads helped me survive this and tolerate it so I could be with my baby. Initially I was buying the Frida Mom instant ice pads, which are great, but more expensive than these. Since I was absolutely relying on instant ice pads, I was spending so much money on them. I’m so happy I found these as they’re more affordable. I also find the contents to be more liquidy as compared to the Frida Mom pads, meaning I feel like the cool gel flows as I move which I like. The Frida Mom ones are a good product, but I’ve actually come to prefer these, which is great since they are more affordable. So glad I found these.

These pads do the job.They are comfortable in diaper and are nice for the two hours.The frustration starts and ends with having to prepare the pad. Each pad I have pulled out of the package are not easily foldable. You can fold as many times forwards, or backwards and there will be NO pop.This is very frustrating while your lady bits are very swollen, maybe in pain, maybe burning or itching.Having trouble popping the ice bag just sucks! However, what I found that works is kneading my finger through the entire pad until it breaks. Sometimes I hear a pop other times I just feel the cold temperature.After all of the stress, the pad is definitely nicely fitted to diaper and wonderfully cold.
