A simple, effective little hair dryer at an inexpensive cost!
I have purchased this 1875 watt Conair hair dryer three times. The first one was purchased February 2017, and is the one that I have been using ever since. I like it so much that I purchased one to leave at my son's house for visits. I purchased this third one to have as a spare hair dryer in my own home, but as it sounds a little quieter than my first one, I'm using the new one as my personal dryer, having relegated the oldest one to be used as a spare. This newest one works well for my hair, as do the other two. This recent one, as with the others, is light-weight, not overly loud, comes with a push-on concentrator, and has a non-detachable cord that is approximately 5 feet long. You push upwards on the control button for high speed/temp., to the middle for off, and down for low speed/temperature. The button locks in place, and does not unintentionally slip out of place while the dryer is being used. There is a cold shot button which enables cooler air while the button is engaged. Simple controls for a simple, but effective and inexpensive little hair dryer. If this is all that you're looking for in a hair dryer, you should be happy with this one!

Works a bit too well....
Some people will love the heat and power of this lightweight dryer....but I find even the low setting a bit too hot and windy - I can only use it with the concentrator on, or I feel like I'm drying my hair in a hurricane. I chose to keep it since the concentrator makes styling doable, and I'm sure the dryer is working as it was designed to. Seems to be sturdy and durable as my previous Conairs have been.

Lasts forever
This is an amazing dryer as I've had it for years and it never uses out. I don't even use it on it's hottest setting and it gets the job done. There is an opening latch at the end that lets you clean out debris and that takes a minute. It also has a cool air button if you want to protect the hair from heat. Excellent purchase and value.

Really glad to have found this hairdryer again
Really glad to have found this hairdryer again. Bought a similar Conair 1875 say 15 years ago and loved it, and it worked flawlessly all that time until now while using it once or twice a week. This model looks quite similar, but they have shortened the cord and handle. They also combined the adjustments of heat setting and motor speed into either High or Low, as opposed to the adjustments being independent on the older model. While I somewhat preferred the cord, handle, and adjustments on the older model, this model provides an air concentrator nozzle attachment which I really like and an outlet plug that has electrical safety features. All in all, I'm really pleased.

SO NOT AS ADVERTISED!
I needed a travel dryer with dual voltage. I picked this one b/c it seemed to be good quality and was touted as having all these different style settings. How shameless can some advertisers be?!* A "patented twist-it folding handle"?--This thing has no folding handle! I tried twisting it this way and that. Handle doesn't fold.* No dual voltage. I checked everywhere. I removed the filter in the back, checked to see if there is a switch/button there. Sometimes it's hard to get to or see, so you need a pen. But there was nothing back there. Why advertise this dryer as a travel dryer when it's clearly not meant for use in Europe or anyplace outside the US that has above 110 voltage.Besides for that, this fan is indeed light. The handle is comfortable. The heat/speed settings--by the way, heat/speed are one and the same on this dryer. Don't think there are separate heat/speed settings. You can set it to HIGH and get strong hot air, or you can set it to LOW and get gentler warm air. The hot air isn't too hot, which I liked because it's strong but won't fry your hair. The fan itself is pretty small and, like I mentioned, lightweight. So, It can definitely fit into a suitcase. The coolshot button does blow fairly steady cool air. The concentrator is curved a bit from the top, which is more convenient for straightening.Don't get me wrong, this is a nice dryer. It looks nice, it feels good in your hand and seems to be quality. But I won't be keeping it because I need a TRAVEL dryer with DUAL VOLTAGE and an actual folding handle, which this dryer does not have. And it's very inconsiderate for the company to lie like this in its advertising.

Great for the price! (though price has gone up since I purchased it)
My old hair Conair dryer, that I had for at least 10 years, finally bit the dust and I needed to replace it on the cheap, so I was happy to find this. I only blow-dry my once a few times a year, so I really don't need anything fancy. This is a little bulkier/more awkward to handle than I expected, and I have yet to figure out how to fold it like the description says it can, but otherwise I'm happy with this purchase.

Bigger than what I had anticipated. Cool shot not very cool. Dries decently

Down and dirty.
For the price, a good sturdy unit. This replaced the one I was using outside to melt ice in a pipe. I let it run unattended for 20 minutes and I burnt the unit out. So this was a replacement. Use it on your head and not outside on a frozen pipe.
