It is stiff and difficult to work with at first but after applying a healthy dose of leather conditioner, it softened up. Would be nice to have padding for the laptop.

Very pleased with the overall craftsmanship of this leather messenger bag. There was much care taken in preparing the item for shipping (wrapping all buckles and metal clasps in cling wrap), much appreciated. Slight scratch on the release buckle of the flap, but not anything major - adds character to the overall look. I appreciate the interior padding between the compartments for my laptop and the plentiful storage compartments. Did not have any offensive odor or chemical smell after unwrapping. Takes a few days to decompress from squished packed state. Did include a nice informational notice and thank you note. Much appreciated & hope to enjoy it for many years to come. I searched for hours to find a good messenger bag for my upcoming sophomore year of highschool because I’m going to have 4 fine arts classes and I don’t need a big bag. I decided on this one and ordered it. It arrived and wow. It has tons of space however, it manages to not be bulky. It’s the perfect bag for me and has strong sides so your strap will remain fastened and won’t rip overtime like a lot of reviews on other bags on Amazon mention. Couldn’t recommend this bag more. It also looks fantastic and has a convenient opening system.

Bag does not hold up to being carried by the handle. The center clasp is not screwed down but taped. Broke the same day I got it. Love the bag so took it to a Taylor to fix.

I really liked this item when I received it. It appeared well made and durable. However, it looked small. Sure enough, when I measured it it was not 5" wide, but more like 4" To be fair, lets say 4.5" In any event it's size did not meet my needs and therefore I returned it.

This bag is my traveling office, and it does the job well! I have it packed with lots of papers and a laptop, so I'd guess well over 20 pounds. My only complaint so far is that while the main flap has a snap, the front and side pockets are buckles. That oversight is on me as the description doesn't clarify that, but it's still a great bag! It is softening over time and getting much easier to work with.

I purchased this bag for my son as a gift. It has lots of storage, to carry a big laptop and small items too, such as notebooks and a phone and glasses and pens and pencils. It looks sharp with great craftmanship. I think He will be well please with it.
