Q: I wear a 34w by 34L, that’s my normal pants size, wear ovr rgular pnts, what would be the best size? I was thinking L butnot sure evry stor hasownsize

I’m a 42X30 inseam and got an XL. It was way long and easily fit over my golf pants. I’d suggest a large; but remember, they are not stylish. They kept me dry. I was happy.

They are not waterproof. They are water resistant. If you are walking in the rain they will likely be just fine. However, the seams are not sealed and they are not waterproof. Just discovered that today when I was sitting during some rain and discovered to my disappointment that my pants were soaked because the seams in the crotch allowed plenty of water to come in.

Q: Are this good for hiking around 5-10 miles.

they are paper thin , comfortable.I use them on the boat, not sure about hiking, as long as the area was not thicket-like they would probably do well. I do not think they are sturdy enough to withstand snagging.... but not sure on that.

They are waterproof. They are sized to fit over your normal clothing. I'm a 37/38 waist and my Toggs are a size medium, so I bet you would find this too large. Go to the manufacturer's site and check their sizing chart.
