It WORKS
This water-cooled mattress pad is a MUST for anyone who runs hot like me and tosses and turns over their hot spots all night. It provides a comfortable and cool sleeping surface that can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. The pad is SUPER easy to install. I got it up and running in under 10 minutes. The water-cooling technology used in this pad is impressive. It works by circulating water through the pad, which helps to regulate your body temperature throughout the night. This means that you can enjoy a more restful sleep without waking up feeling hot and uncomfortable. The pad stays 10-12 degrees F lower than the ambient temperature. At the coldest setting it is TOO COLD. I recommend the 2nd lowest setting. I also kinda love the fact that the water evaporates over time, requiring a refill after a few days. I hate the thought of nasty stagnant water circulating permanently in a device.I would highly recommend the water-cooled mattress pad to anyone who struggles with hot flashes, night sweats, or simply wants a more comfortable sleeping surface. It is a high-quality product that is built to last, and it is sure to provide you with many nights of restful sleep.

It solved my problem
I tend to sleep on one side for most of the night, and this results in a bit of sweating, which over the course of a few days can start to smell like a locker room.AC, fans, ice can't touch this because it's underneath. This solution has completely solved it for me.It uses evaporitive cooling that chills the water in tubing that runs back and forth in the pad. It's very noticeable. I measured both sides of the bed when I got it, and this pad was 5 degrees cooler than the other. It may not sound like a lot, but it's enough to stop the sweat. The unit is clearly not super high quality, and it shouldn't be for the price. But there are really no flaws in the design. There are really only two downsides:1) It does make a small amount of fan noise. It doesn't bother me, and I'm sure anyone would get used to it. But it is about whisper level white noise.2) It will go through water. I live in a humid area, and it goes through about 3/4 tank a night. It seems to hold about 1/2 gallon. But it's totally worth it for the increased comfort and no more night sweats.

Edit: may God help you not kill yourself. Original:No longer waking up soaked
Edit: I almost died using this tonight. The water gage marker is black. The water level gage is dark blue. The background is black. It is extremely difficult to see what the water level is. Because of this the way overflowed past the protective plan I put under it and into a power strip a bit ways. This is extremely poorly designed to determine water level. This product could kill you due to poor water level indicators.Original:I am a very hot sleeper and sweat a lot in bed. I was very skeptical that this would be effective. Today I woke up completely dry. The spot I was sleeping on was not warm from my body heat when I woke up. It also faired well with me turning over in my sleep and there was no real bunching up. For what it is is effective at drawing heat away. I fell asleep fair quickly as I was cool without needing to turn the AC on high.I am impressed with this mat and cooling device!Because of the nature of fundamental physics and energy transfer, let this thing run for about 45 minutes before going to bed to allow it to circulate the water and draw out the heat and you will have a nice cool bed to sleep on. You don't need to, but it will make the initial experience all the better for it.This is a good buy.

Mattress cooler
I bought this cooler for my wife as she is always hot and I am usually cold. It worked great at first but after several months, the pump stopped working. I contacted the seller and he sent me out a complete new unit right away. Great customer service!!! My wife is now happy again and sleeping very well. It works great to cool things down. We tried these cool gel mattresses and they do very little. This does a lot. Very simple and works. Thanks again!

Changed my life - genuinely.
I bought this just a week or so ago, and it has dramatically improved my sleep. I'm on a medication that causes me to sweat, and I also have two small children. The amount of nights I would be woken up (drenched in sweat!) to walk freezing and wet around my house to help a sick kid, or deal with a nightmare, etc... it was driving me insane. Doctors couldn't help because it's a "minor" symptom and I thought it didn't warrant changing my meds. I looked at the $600+ alternative but just couldn't spend that. This machine changed EVERYTHING. I'm waking up dry! And comfortable!Pros:I have an adjustable twin mattress, and the pad is flexible enough to move with my mattress. The straps on it help keep it in place! The sound is minimal and is louder with a higher fan setting, but not by a ton (but I do sleep with a fan and sound machine, so take that with a grain of salt)The settings on it are actually very good. 4 different fan levels, and several different "cycle" levels to turn it off/on/off/on throughout the night. I use a consistent Fan 1 or 2 level, but the timer works well from when I used it onceIt is FAST. The pad felt cool nearly immediately after turning it onCons:It can be a bit TOO cold on my back, but I just added a softly padded bamboo mattress pad on top, so the coolness is greatly mitigated and leads to me being nice and cool but not COLD on my back (I know it sounds complicated, but I'm a habitual back sleeper and very particular about how I sleep, so it made all the difference for me!)It does use a lot of water- I use almost a half gallon each night. However, I don't use the cycle and I use the highest settings so it makes sense that it would use a lot of water. It STILL manages to last all night long without being low!I have heard it can mold- I have been using a humidifier treatment (a capful per half gallon of water) to prevent bacteria. It's an easy additional step that has caused me no problems at all. I'll update this review if that changes!
