Functional, seems well built. I guess there is not much to say for a steamer review. It unfolds nicely, fits in various size pots and does what it is supposed to do. Quality seems fine, not super high, but solid. I expect it to last a few years like every other steamer that I have had.

I loved it. It is so easy to use. It fits in most potes/pans. Great for steaming small to medium portions of veggies.

I got both large and small steamers. Both expand to fit many pots. Steaming takes less time to cook but with no heart clogging grease. If not filled completely with food you can close it up. Have to experiment how or if it changes cooking time. Must be careful of hot steam. For adults only.No instructions. Took a few minutes to figure out how to open it outward.One suggestion: enlarge the ring that's used to pull it out of the pot.Must use pot holder to empty food on to a dish. Should've bought one of these long ago.Price is good for all you can do with it. If you have a family you'll need to but it's worth it.

Just a little smaller than I expected. A little expensive for small size.

I’m trying to move towards cooking with fresh vegetables, including cutting out frozen vegetables that are often stored in plastic bags. This steamer basket works PERFECT with my Xtrema 3.5 quart versa pot. So far, I’ve used it every day since I’ve bought it.It holds about 400 - 500 grams of cut vegetables. Easy to clean and compacts down for easy storage.This makes steaming vegetables incredibly easy.

I fill a pot with water and use it to steam vegetables in it. Very good value for money. Lightweight, quick to use. Cleaning takes some time depending on the food. Works and functions for what I need it to do. A caution, be careful when all the water steams out because then you just get a burning metal smell so keep an eye on it or use a lid to keep the steam in.

This is really easy to use! I steam vegetables to make my daughter's baby food and have used this each time. It fits nicely in my pot and is pretty easy to clean. Good quality for the price.

After like 30 years of using one of these, it finally got warped and the flip wouldn’t flop. So I bought another. Use almost every day. Everyone should have one.
