It works, but you need more information than they provide
I had my circuit already operating using similar NRF24L01+ transceivers that have the antenna printed on the board, so I knew everything was working right when this new amplified version arrived. The package arrives with no markings on the board, and no pointers to documentation either in the package or in the Amazon page about it. I assumed (correctly) that the pinout was the same as my original transceivers, and I hooked up the new boards. No transmitting, no receiving happened.I emailed the folks at YourDuino who sell a similar item and have a very good set of tutorials on setting up and using this board (see [...]). They responded quickly, suggesting I ensure I have sufficient power on the 3.3v line to the board. The original boards I used with the printed antenna don't use the same power as these do - they power an amplifier, which helps get the extra range from these. Once I corrected the supply of 3.3v power, it worked as expected. I still need to install a capacitor across the 3.3v source lines - I think I read somewhere that 330mF is a good size to use.If there was good information available upon purchase about install and use, I would rate this 5 stars, especially based on price.

work great in my mesh setup
Stable radio's. work great in my mesh setup. lacks silk screening. so double check your pinouts.

Very nice after adding Caps
When i first tried these I assumed they were dead since I didn't get communication at 5 feet. I added a 2.2 uF and a .33 uF cap right to the back side of the power connections and they work great. Make sure you use a good quality capacitor for the .33I'm using the MIN power setting and I'm getting no lost transmissions inside my house, approx 120 feet and through six walls. The boards have no pinout marked so be careful to lookup the pinout on a board like the Addicore nRF24L01+ and follow that one. Also note that almost every nRF library uses a different pinout for the Arduino, make sure you match your connections to the library you're using. It's a shame that none of these boards have the capacitors already installed, based on my experiments and most of what I read, it's rare that they work without them.

I am satisfied with these units
The units without an antenna would not transmit or receive thru the 5/8 inch drywall between my garage and house. This unit with the antenna solved the problem. Only complaint is that the connection pins are not labeled, but they are the same as the non antenna version. I am satisfied with these units.
