Darice2mm Foamie Roll, 36-Inch by 60-Inch, Black

I'm leaving this comment now, over a year after making my wonder woman chest armor. I used this foam to make this! The picture of the armor on the mannequin was taken this year, the photo of it on me was taken right when I finished. Thin, easy to work with, but does bend in heat very easily - could use that to your advantage. I'm looking at redoing the armor, (changing how I did the base, but plan on using this foam again for the top layers. Was very happy with how it looks.

Saw some other complaints about product durability, so I was reluctant to order, but it's a great price so I tried it out. Turned out to be exactly what I hoped it would be. It's 2mm craft foam, so it will tear easily, but that's because it's easily workable 2mm foam. It's easy to cut with a precision knife into whatever shape you need. I coated mine with Plasti Dip and reinforced the underside with thin posterboard to hold form without tearing, and it worked great for my needs.

I am a total beginner at using EVA foam for cosplay so the value for this size of foam was great. This roll was BIG. I was able to craft, make mistakes and still have enough for the finished product.I don’t have much knowledge of foams as I haven’t really explored but I cannot think of any cons with this roll. It was lightweight, it didn’t tear easily, held its shape well. Took 3 coats of plastidip before painting.Definitely will buy again for future crafting!

Using for cosplay armor and weapons and it works great! My only complaint is that it has a very strong chemical smell, which isn't the most pleasant to work with, but it's great nonetheless! If you plan on wearing it though, I'd recommend letting it air out before you wear the completed piece.

I used this to cover some shields I made from 1" foam for my kids. It added a necessary layer that will let me paint them. Cuts easily with an xacto knife, scored well with a soldering iron. Bonded great to open cell foam using Barge cement (use a respirator for that cement!)

This foam sheet is perfect for transferring RC airplane model plans to the firm foam sheet you are using to build your airplane. I cut my paper plans out and used spray adhesive to fix them to this foam. I then trim the part and now have a nice stiff airplane component template that I can use over and over again to trace the part onto a foam sheet with a ball point pen or sharpie.

Perfect for what I needed it for. Made my son a deathstroke costume and needed a material that could hold it’s shape but was light enough for a kid to move in for trick-or-treating. This fit the bill! Used this thinner foam for the ab plate, side panels, arm gauntlets, gun belt, and helmet construction. Careful placement of pattern pieces means I have plenty of foam left over for whatever the next project has in store. Great value.

Used it to make Maleficent wings, it worked great and price was better than the others. Make sure to use on a clean surface because any hair, dust, lint it touched stuck to it and had to use a lint roller to clean it up. It also spray painted well

Used this for making an arm for cosplay and it was a little thin on it’s own for the look I wanted but it was so simple and fast so cut that doubling up the template still was quicker than sawing into a thicker foam. Very few blemishes in the foam itself and super easy to bend and work with especially with heat (only had to use a hairdryer for this stuff.)

il rotolo è enorme, l’ho usato per realizzare le “”piume”” per un paio di ali da valchiria, e mi ci son trovata bene. Le decorazioni fatte con il pirografo son venute bene, la schiuma puzza molto meno rispetto ad altre!

Not as good as expected. Expected something heavier

Most of the roll was good quality except for one end where it has come off the compressor machine thinner than it is supposed to be and with about 8 square centimetres missing.

Good amount of foam, more than I needed but certainly better than paying a fraction less for a lot less. The foam itself isn't deep black, but dark enough. It's soft to the touch and thickness is a mm or two. Overall no issues.
