Sunnydaze Round Outdoor Fire Pit Cover - Weather-Resistant Heavy-Duty PVC with Drawstring Closure - Black - 40-Inch

Although our fire pit is 36 inches in diameter and we purchased the 36 inch model, it doesn't fit very well. Our pit is domed like the one in the photo, so the 36 inches doesn't really extend to the outside edges of the pit. I would recommend that if you have a domed top, then you order a size six inches larger than your pit's actual diameter.

Only lasted one winter in Chicago. There are several frayed areas where this cover is falling apart. Not nearly as durable as advertised. I stored the fire pit with the cover on it under a large overhang of the house so it didn't get a ton of snow on it, but it did receive occasional light dusting from the wind blowing it sideways. Wonder if that made it a bit brittle in places. Also a bit disappointment in the sizing as I ended up buying two of these last year because the first one was a bit too small (length wise) to protect the cut outs in the side of the fire pit.

This is my second purchase of this cover. This fits my fire pit perfectly! I have had this cover for 3 years and I keep it covered 24/7 when not in use. this cover is completely waterproof and fits well with the drawstring. I keep my fire pit covered through all seasons and this keeps out water and snow. I had to replace it after 3 years only due to the drawstring breaking, but after 3 years I cannot complain. It does fade from the sun but continues to keep out water super great, long lasting great product! AAA+++++!

Heavy duty canvas material, with some sort of waterproofing. Water beads up and slips off. This fits my the copper fire pit purchased from HD very well. The cover that came with it was plastic and didn't last a 3 months in the Florida sun and rain. I've had this cover for four months and so far so good, the sun has really faded it, but the water still beads up and slips right off and I don't know that you can find a fabric that wouldn't fade when in direct sunlight all day, everyday. I am happy with the cover and as long as I get a year out of it, will buy another when the time comes.Update: Well it's time to order a new one. I've had it for fifteen months and although it faded in the FL sun, it has held up fine. Just started getting small tears in it recently and I noticed when it rained yesterday the water no longer beads up. Happy with any cover that lasts a year in direct sun light in FL.

We recently got some holes in our older Sunnydaze cover (which looks like an animal chewed on it) and I used "buy it now" to get another one from my order archive. I received a "Fashion" cover that is barely stronger than paper. It was definitely not made by Sunnydaze. Always check that seller!!!As for Sunnydaze, we purchased the original in September of 2018 and you can see how it has held up minus something trying to snack on it.

This item seems to be waterproof. The water is beading up on it. We have only had it on for maybe a week now. It is the 30" model and is a very snug fit on our 30" fire pit. It would be nice it the cord was able to be pulled in two places. It is a little hard to get the far side snugged in. I would have liked to have had tabs to tie or velcro around a leg or two on the fire pit. Cannot rate weatherproof or durability at this time. Overall, we are happy with this product and it's too soon to know how well it holds up.

I ordered this for our new custom made gas fire pit. They told us it can not get wet, so I purchased this cover after reading reviews. I was a little concerned because the outer measurement of our pit is 37" and I purchased the 36" cover. Others had said it worked with a dome screen, so I figured there was a little give. It was a little bit tight getting it on, but once I got the bottom fabric past the rim, it was fine, as you can see in the picture.The fabric itself seems sturdy and it looks very nice on the pit. The drawstring and toggle work well and help to keep it secure on the pit.I am curious to see how it will uphold in the southern California sun, as fabrics tend to fade and weaken in the strong sun. Also hopes that it holds up to El Nino rains. Will update review later when I have more information.

I've had my cover for about 8 months now and I love it. I bought it to use indoors to cover my papasan chair which one of our cats had a thing for peeing on. The cat peed on it a few more times with the cover on and it worked great. Held the urine without any leaking through. It's also pretty durable. Our cats jump and run across it all the time and it shows no sign on wear. When soiled I wash on delicate tap cold cycle and hang it out to dry.

arrived as promised, not really heavy material. but it does fit snugly. I will have to wait to see how it handles snow, rain is no problem

Worked as expected. Measurements are accurate. Sinch lock is not great but functional. Waiting for a heavy rain or snow to evaluate waterproof capabilities. Would recommend.

Bought this to protect my backyard firebowl. Fits perfectly and prevents rain from getting in. I would highly recommend this product.
