I had a similar looking and size dusk to dawn led porch light that died recently which is very surprising because it was in a protected place. I bought three at the time and the other two still work fine and are on all night. They are not available now to buy a replacement.After searching for a similar size and look, dusk to dawn led porch light, I found this one . It costs a little more than I was planning on but it was the best that fit what I was looking for. The ratings are also solid.The light illumination is really good, not overwhelming, but better than my previous light where I can now see much better if grilling at night on the back porch.It is great to leave the light "on" where it illuminates at dusk and goes out at dawn without my having to monitor it, which saves money for not being on during the day if I were to forget to turn off like you would with a regular light, and so it is on when coming home at night.It is solidly made, easy to install, and the led light is protected by a cover which I think is very positive. My previous light did not have such protection, it was open to the elements other than the glass surround.I see that some folks say they have returned it because of the "small" size. I measured my old light and compared the measurements on the lanterns description before buying. The size description is accurate. So, measure the placement area carefully if starting out new to see if it will work for you. If you are not sure if it is too small or big, I suggest outlining the potential lamp location it with blue tape using the measurements provided in the description to make it easier visualize it and whether it would fit for your circumstance.I am pleased with this purchase and would buy again if needed.

Great light. Very bright and works perfectly for front door. No longer need to remember to turn on/off the light each night/morning. Great size for a townhome too. Color looks good with existing gold tone door hardware and house numbers. Very good value! Great price compared to what you will find in the big box stores for much more and most likely not with dusk to dawn feature. If you like the look, don't hesitate to buy this. Easy typical installation for such fixtures. If you have any basic knowledge about install a light fixture, you should be able to install this.

Well made and sturdy and it looks very attractive. The light is very bright and it responds to the daylight change to night immediately . You can test it by covering the aperture i the front, which I did and the light came on immediately. It's nice that you do not need to get a light bulb as it is fitted. Exceptional product!

So far, this has been great. It is much brighter than our previous light and uses way less electricity. It is dusk to dawn and I love not having to either leave it on 24x7 or to turn it on manually when it starts getting dark or turning it off when it gets light.

The light installation is very easy. The light is nice and bright for added security. Highly recommend!

I replaced two older still-functioning outdoor fixtures to enhance the look of our newly-painted home. These outdoor lights are a very nice quality product; they are attractive with their traditional design and finish. They provide bright lighting for dusk-to-dawn use with operational cost of less than $1.50 PER YEAR. Installed it just yesterday, and it is functioning perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased!
