Great!
Great heavy duty protective rod case. Nice quality heavy plastic will protect and last a very long time. Looks like it will hold 8-10 rods

Perfect for fishing trip!
We just used it for a fishing trip. We were able to fit eight rods without the reels with no problem. TSA approved but it has to go through oversized baggage. It saved us the cost of renting rods and equipment during our trip. I highly recommend.

For the money....hard to beat imo
Nice durable rob holder, truly does hold 8 rods with ease, and I do believe if they were all spinning rods it could hold 10 imo. Bought just before going on vacation week+ ago, put 4 casting rods measuring 6 to 7' and 4 spinning rods from 5'6" to 7' in case no problem. Started by extending middle section to one hole short of max extension for the two pieces and locking in. Then top piece inserted while it lies on floor with longest pole lying next to it in order to calibrate case length necessary. Put piece of tape just above hole necessary to stop at for correct length so as to not have the top piece press on rod tips if you push it down too far. If you just blindly attempt to adjust to correct length while rods are in the case you may break a tip imo as the ends have soft foam in them making it difficult to feel you're pushing down too far, or you may set length a bit too short pressuring rod tips. Ideally there should be a little play imo. I had zero issues, strapped to top of my SUV and all arrived safe and sound to and from our destinations. Not sure what the complainers are complaining about unless they didn't read or inserted their rods with no forethought in mind as to how to best do it. If I was planning on actually using it to send poles on a plane though I'd be doing some extra padding inside as it IS basically a hard plastic case with no side protection. Seems very durable though. Considering I was at Bass Pro Shops a few days before ordering and this thing was $89.99 plus tax I have no complaints at paying $50 shipped on Amazon. Only improvement I would suggest is they add some soft foam around the inside of the bottom and middle piece openings to put a little cushion to inside walls, but I can do some of that myself.Or even better install foam ring with channels that would keep rods separated a bit. It could be improved I guess, but I would buy again at this price with no qualms.

Works for swords… if you can remove the cross.
If you’re flying and have a sword that breaks down so you can remove the cross guard, this is an excellent and affordable alternative to a gun case. The tube seems like it will take a beating in terms of durability and I appreciate that the length is adjustable. I suspect it’ll work wonderfully for its intended use as well. Only downside I’m seeing so far is that it doesn’t come with a strap so you can sling it over your shoulder. If all goes well at the airport, I’ll leave this review as is.

I’d ship my rod in this any day!
Any faults other reviewers find are nitpicking! This thing is a tank. It is well worth the money if you’re carrying anything that has value to you. I’m using to travel with kites and I feel confident that they will make it safely. I’m sure rods will stand up fine. Maybe a few rags taped around delicate parts to ease your mind but otherwise a building would have to fall on this carrier before it gave way. Any complaints about adjusting the length are ridiculous and petty. This is a five star product all day long.

Solid case with plenty of room
We just received our Plano Airliner telescopic rod carrier for our impending trip to Central America. I easily packed in 3 80” rods and a cardboard tube of rolled up maritime charts. There was plenty of space for all with room to spare and the cushioning in both end cups was well appreciated. The weight was fine, the design very secure and the shell provides robust protection for the gear inside. The handle is well positioned for good balance and the clips provided work well - will easily fit a padlock if preferred. I would happily recommend this case and don’t have any design improvements to suggest. This is pretty much a military grade rig and very affordable. Will last a long time and many trips to Central America!

Very well made product. Traveled on airline with seven rods. The holder protected the rods well with no damage. Thick plastic with solid pins to adjust size. Fits 7 ft rods no problem. Would recommend. Very pleased

Let’s go fishin
Fits a bunch of poles! Great to take on airplane have used it many times. It looks a bit wanky but great quality all my rods have always been safe.

Perfect protection
I have a Fenwick 13.5' rod that is 32 years old I just love, but could never find a multiple rod holder case to protect it! Well those days are over this case is very strong and even held up to my grand children playing with it (apparently they think it's a rocket worth riding). Wives never pay attention to what the kids are into in the man cave. Any way if this case can hold up to them one afternoon with only scrapes to show for it, I won't give the airport a second thought. Recommend this case to any traveler or grand parent out there. Wet lines people!

Buena compra
Es algo caro, pero merece la pena. Pesa un poco, pero sabes que las cañas no can a sufrir ni se van a romper.
