This was the first time I had ever purchased or used this type of paper. I use this as one of my tools during my advocacy group. It dries quickly and is ready to use in about 10 or 15 minutes. It all depends on the amount of water used on your brush. The paper is thick enough so it can be used over and over again. Perfect for all ages.

When you have too much anxiety over your kids wanting to paint, get this instead. They can paint with water. I don't have to hover over them as much. We used these outside in the summer and they dry quickly so they can do it all over again.

The surface is slightly rough, darker than I expected. But seems like it is durable and a water mark/stroke dries up quickly. I am going to connect all 6 papers to practice my asian painting, but will use cheaper brushes, since it is not that smooth. For the children, I think this is great!!

Love these once i left them upside down for days. They come rolled up and so it is very hard to get them to lay flat if you don't prep them. Even painters tape tore them up. Overall they work well and do exactly what they say. Great activity for little ones and enough in the pack for cheap that we have plenty for friends to play too.

I know this was not intended for children but my toddler fully approves and loves simply doing hand prints and trying to write with her fingers. It drys really fast and 0 cleanup

I am disappointed in these. I own the original large buddha-board as well as the buddha board mini. My four grandchildren love them and fight over them, so I wanted to make a couple more. I was surprised that "Amazon's Choice" was such a poor substitute. Feel the buddha board and it is totally smooth. This is bumpy; more of a muslin feel. It leaves a 'fuzzier' edge to the drawing. The edge of what is drawn on the buddha board is crisp and clean.I also tried "Magic Water Painting Paper" ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B001C0Q9MA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 )and that gives a much closer experience to what I was looking for. It too is smooth like the buddha board and therefor gives a nice crisp edge to the lines. I like the idea that it comes in colors as well. That surprised me since I thought the black & white was so classic I would not like the red or the green that the MWPP offers, but it seems better somehow. MWPP is a keeper!An advantage that this paper offers (besides more paper for the price) is that it came rolled so there was no crease. The MWPP I received, while in it package it was not folded but the packer folded it when placing it in the Amazon package so it now has a slight crease (but not a fold). Since I am using adhesive spray to attach to a board I feel that will not be an issue though.Both, in my trials, lead to a total evaporation of the drawing with no ghosting.This paper dries *slightly* faster than the MWPP.If you never had a buddha board you probably would feel fine with this purchase. Alias, for me that is not the case. It will be returned.

I’ve gifted all but one of the sheets because they’re so fun to use. Used them with kids and even after they got soaked the still dried and worked again and again. Great find.
