My son and I get tonsil stones regularly (even with drinking lots of water and gargling constantly) so our ENT and dentists recommended using tongue depressors to clear them out as opposed to water picks as those can lodge the stones in deeper apparently. We don't have any other issues with our tonsils so having them removed is not considered necessary. We were using our toothbrushes thinking that was the best option, but apparently we were advised that bristles can get break off or come loose and get lodged in the pockets in the tonsils and create serious issues. I ordered these tongue depressors as the cost for the quantity was one of the lowest and reviews were good. These are good thick sticks with length that makes it easy to reach our tonsils easily. They are very durable and function exactly as we need them too. We both have way less redness and irritation after using these to remove our stones as the wood does not slip when applying pressure like our toothbrushes were. Love the quality, quantity and price!

OK, so they are individually packed wooden tongue depressors. They seem fine and are equivalent to the quality of the tongue depressors I received at the doctor's office. I needed these to help perform jaw stretches to increase my mouth opening after experiencing side effects from radiation/chemo treatments for cancer of the tonsil. Nicely packed, box can be opened and closed, each stick is individually wrapped and sterile about 1-1.5mm thick with a standard length and width. Very inexpensive option for what seems to be quality tongue depressors!

These tongue depressors were a great value for the price. I needed them for waxing, and they are durable and do not break easily they are also individually packed and sterilized, easy to unwrap. The size is pretty standard to normal tongue depressors.

These are labeled “senior size”, but that really means they are not the smaller, pediatric size. They are individually wrapped, sterile tongue depressors that can be used for medical purposes, or for crafts too. While one shouldn’t expect a tongue depressor to be “sturdy” for many uses, these are just like any other quality tongue depressor: they do the job well. They are smooth enough for oral exams or for applying creams and ointments, and they are strong enough to be good for all sorts of craft projects. Since they are individually wrapped, you have to open the paper to use them. That is not a problem - just tear the end of the paper and the tongue depressor comes right out. I’ve used medical tongue depressors that were much more tightly wrapped; these are much easier to use.

Nice wrapped up applicators for effectively applying meds/cremes. They hold up well and are a good size to get coverage of the area you are treating. they are a great value for the money, very effective.

Not moisturizing because it’s a tongue depressor. Functionally does what I need it to for sanitary use of Vaseline. Comfort- it’s a large popsicle stick- and all I do is scoop up product with it- so I can’t speak for that. Thickness and durability is as expected. No complaints here. It does exactly what I need it to!
