Customer service is there to help
Ordered this grill on March 10th. The first time I used it I could not pre heat above 375 degrees. Contacted Royal Gourmet. Rep indicated the regulator was probably defective and shipped new regulator with hose. I replaced the regulator and can now pre heat to 600 degrees. Customer service was very helpful and understanding.

Pay to install
This grill is light weight. It takes a while to put together. If you are not mechanically inclined, pay to have it installed. The striker has not worked yet.I gave up on it and I am using a long lighter. Other than that it works great.

Avoid at all costs
I would give this negative stars if possible. The unit was scratched from the factory and had minor dents. The instructions are horrible (I am an accomplished assembler). Sharp edges galore and to top it off when I went to hit the electric starter it shocked me. This is total garbage. Before I would use this grill I would rather cook on an open fire while being attacked by bears.

Lots of manufacturing cosmetic ‘dings’ make it disapointing
Item is good, but had a number of cosmetic ‘dings’ . Not enough to return, but enough to be disappointing . Worst is on door which makes door ‘wonky’ and not secure closed. Interesting there was no damage on shipping box, so the damage was done by the manufacturer.

I used this grill a lot. That being said, it is falling apart from the inside. Upper grill has decomposed and under the grill has rusted through. Very disappointed in this unit. I’ll be going back to anything on sale at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Easy BBQ to use!
I do the BBQing in the family. The one I had worked but struggled with lighting, and my husband would need to light it for me so I could BBQ. I finally told him I needed a new one for Mother's Day, and he surprised me with this BBQ. It was easy to learn how to cook the perfect steak, and I am very happy with it.
