I know. You’re out of titanium white, but short on cash. I was there. Crossed my fingers and ordered this. Please learn from my error. You really won’t save money on this. The color is weak. You will use two of three times as much to get the color that you want. I was pleasantly surprised to see this paint worked great. Some of the reviews had complaints but I had a great experience. There was no extra oil like people were talking about. It was thick, creamy and great for the price. I've been painting many years with winsor and newton paints. I always run out of the white so I wanted a big tube for a good price.

Great opacity, Texture is smooth and easy to use. My new favorite titanium white! Too be totally fair, I’ve only used other titanium white that came in those crappy “artist paint sets” and yeah, those were crappy- so I might just be impressed for the same reason you would be impressed with Burger King after only having McDonald’s- but yet to have tried 5 guys, ya know? I am still happy enough to where I don’t feel the need to try a different one.

I bought 2 tubes last July and One tube today...both caps broke off the tube within a week...Is it possible to get 3 new caps...I did not see a place to contact you directly...

I used this paint to fill in crazing on an old doll. Good price for the size of tube. Since I applied it and then rubbed it off, I’m not sure about coverage in a normal painting situation but it worked for me for the purpose I wanted it to.

More like Gulden's mustard yellow.If you're looking for actual gold paint, keep looking. And it takes FOREVER to dry.

Like: It dried overnight on the canvas when thinned with odorless paint thinner. I expected it to have skinned over and hardening on the palette as well, but it was still soft. That's a nice property for paint to have. I also like the plastic tube. Metal tubes get dinged up and eventually start leaking when shipped in inadequate packaging (looking at you, Amazon).Dislike: It's gritty. I use a glass palette and I can feel the grittiness of it under the palette knife. No other paint I've ever used has felt gritty like that. It's also a little too runny.It could be argued that a bit of grittiness doesn't affect the final painting. True enough. But grittiness indicates either that the grinding of pigments was hasty and incomplete, or that some coarse filler (like sand) was added. Grittiness isn't a fall-on-your-sword fatal characteristic of paint, but it is an indicator that there were compromises made in its production. And the more I think about that the more I wonder what other compromises are in this paint that I don't know about. It's just a big red flag that there's something very wonky about its quality.I wanted to try Mont Marte paint, as it is aggressively priced and was recommended by Amazon. Nope, you whiffed on that one, Amazon.
