I love this computer
I love this computer, It is very fast. I gave a 5 Star rating for ease of use. I got this Lenovo Tower to load my cd collection. They loaded very fast. I was using a Gateway laptop with win10. It was fast , but not as fast as this one.I WOULD RECOMEND THIS LENOVO DESKTOP TO ANYONE < FOR HOME OR OFFICE > I also use this desktop torun my video capture card. And yes it loads and transfers my video to DVD. VERY FAST AND SMOOTH. Well I just cannotexpress more because , IT RUNS SO GREAT..

Great buy!
I don't often write reviews unless I'm extremely disappointed or extremely satisfied with a purchase. In this case I am extremely satisfied! I've had this computer less than a week so hopefully I will feel the same about it in the months and years to come. For the price this is an amazing machine! It's super fast and powerful! This is coming from a guy who has only been a Mac user for several years. Very fast shipping! In fact came a day early! I would and do recommend this desktop to anyone and everyone!

Unreliable for me
I received this product in June, and was very happy with it. However, the longer I used it, the more small problems I had with it. Cumulatively, it became a big problem. First, it began disconnecting from the internet constantly (I know this could have been the internet, except that I have several other devices using the same connection with no issue.) Then it started freezing up; stopped loading pages, and ultimately stopped booting up properly. I started getting the blue screen of death which would cycle through several times, and then load properly. I called Microsoft tech support for help. The technician attempted to log in to make changes, but it wouldn't work. He ended up telling me that though the computer was new to me and had Windows 10 Professional, it was actually too old for him to fix without charging me. I opted instead to call about returning the unit for repairs on Sept 9, and got it back yesterday. I was able to log in one time and then upon rebooting, it said it was repairing the disc (which took about an hour) and then ended up back at the blue screen saying it could not be repaired. I'm sending it back again, for a refund. In truth, you may get lucky and get a reliable unit and if so, it's well worth the money. I will be looking elsewhere, though. As an aside, the customer service was very good.

Bargain for the Power and Speed
I've had this PC for 24 hours and I can say I'm pretty pleased so far. I had bought a new Lenovo H30 a week before for the same price and I brought it back. Waay too slow. Here are some key observations:1) You need to know that it doesn't have Wi-Fi built in. I already knew that, and I simply hooked it up to my modem/router via Ethernet cable. That's the best, most reliable way to connect to the internet anyway, so having no Wi-Fi was not an issue. If you need Wi-Fi, there are plenty of inexpensive USB Wi-Fi adapters that will get you connected.2) The booting up process (which included updating the Windows 10 already installed) took a long time and really made me wonder if this would be a slow machine. But the machine was fine once it finally got to the Windows 10 home screen, after many automatic starts and re-starts. I think it helps if you already have a Microsoft ID online with Microsoft. Because I had that ID, my desktop background on this machine was the same image as on my previous PC! Makes you feel that Microsoft is getting its act together.3) The hard drive is loud. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. Not sure why. But I've tucked the machine into a cabinet with a door at the side of my desk, but I can still hear it if I'm not playing music on my speakers or wearing headphones. Too bad.4) But the key finding is that this computer is powerful and fast for this price point, even as a refurbished product. I use Adobe Lightroom for picture processing, and that requires a fast CPU and plenty of RAM. This machine beats everything I've used, including a MacBook Air. It is a MUCH better computer than the brand new Lenovo H30 at the same price - if you need processing power and speed. One example - I transferred big media files via Ethernet to my external drive at 95 megs per second. That H30 which I returned could only muster 5 megs per second. Conclusion - It looks like it's hit or miss with a refurbished product like this. I got lucky. If you aren't so lucky, just send it back. It's worth the risk, seems to me.

An Excellent Unit
I was looking for an inexpensive upgrade for my basic home PC. I am delighted with this purchase. The unit worked perfectly since the moment I turned it on. Everything was as advertised - processor, ram, hard drive, etc. It handles Windows 10 without any noticeable delays. If I had a use for another desktop, I would buy this same unit without hesitation. The price is terrific for a machine with this capacity.

Hard drive is from 2007. Replaced with a SSD and the tower works great!
I had issues with this system, it seemed to always make horrid loud noises from the hard drive all day long, even when not in use. Due to its constant need to run the hard drive and make sketchy noises it seemed to be laggy and slow as heck. We returned it and got another, same thing. I decided what the heck, I need a new SSD for my home pc any ways, so I ordered a Samsung one, used their software to clone the system over and put it in this tower, now it works great, no issues. The original hard drive I pulled out was dated 2007!!!! No wonder it has issues, I didn't even think you could get a 2tb drive back then! So if yours is slow / laggy and makes horrid noises, get a solid state drive to replace the out dated internal hard drive or get a better unit.
