The Viper Graphstrike 58-Inch Fiberglass Graphite Composite Billiard Cue weighs between 18 to 21 ounces. Both the butt and shaft of this cue are made from multiple overlaid layers of fiberglass graphite composite; and has a veltex wrap which prevents slipping. With no wooden materials it is impervious to warping and is an ideal billiard cue for damp locations. Composite materials are less likely to get marked with dents or scratches, compared to wooden cues. The 13mm genuine leather tip provides better ball control. The Viper Graphstrike is given multiple coats of poly resin and a final hand buffing which creates a smooth finish for a even and consistent stroke.

Not as advertised
The very first sentence in the description states; "Constructed from high strength fiberglass to eliminate warping". And guess what???? Yep, it's warped. Unbelievable. There just doesn't seem to be any quality control these days. I have bought 5 different cues off Amazon, and three are warped. No more Amazon for these items. Bought some billiard balls, and they weren't all the same size. Waterproof boots that are NOT waterproof. And based on how things are packaged, I really wonder if there is any concern what-so ever about quality of items. So disappointing.

False advertising
Excited to use my new pool stick I went to my local pool hall upon delivery. Every shot was off. I chocked it up to using a new stick. After chalking a few times I noticed the tip was almost completely flat and had grooves in it. That didn't matter, after a few more shots the tip broke off. I stopped and grabbed some new tips on my way home and upon trying to unscrew the tip (description says screw tips), I learned after breaking the rest of the top off that this cue is a glued on tip and does not in fact use screw on at all. The interior is also wood and description says it is composite to prevent warping in moist environments. That is a lie.

so I did not want to spend a lot on a nice wood one
I wanted an inexpensive composite cue to avoid warping. My cue gets left in the car a lot, so I did not want to spend a lot on a nice wood one. This cue feels like a cheap toy. It was warped right out of the box, and already had dings and imperfections along the shaft. I returned it.

Deceptive description, wood core
This stick claims to have ZERO wood, it is 100% wood core with a thin fiberglass skin. The description is deceptive if not an outright lie. Just know you are not getting a stick that is not 100% graphite and fiberglass. Actually it doesn't have any graphite that I am aware of, more like 90% wood, 9% fiberglass and 1% metal.

Awesome pool stick for the price point!
I really like this pool stick, as it is a great value for the price point and I have owned a pool table for the majority of my life. The Viper pool sticks are always a stand out stick that you can’t go wrong with. My advice to anyone wanting a great pool stick at a reasonable price, this is the stick for you! Buy it already, you’ll improve your pool game and hopefully you will enjoy it as much as I do!❤️😉

Nice primary pool stick
The color is more of a blue purple, not royal blue as pictured. Screwed together and fit snug first time out the box. No chips, was a bit skeptic at first in purchasing since I would want to see and feel it in person. Amazon should clearly indicate it's weight 20 oz, wanted this weight specifically and contacted them and then they mentioned it was 20oz. Overall I have no regrets buying the stick. Would recommend cue stick if looking for Mizerak replacement since the weight part snapped on previous pool stick. Good value for the money.

Horrible Quality
I cannot believe this item has as many stars as it does. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my brother. Although it is more inexpensive than other pool sticks, I thought Viper was of good quality and a decent choice. He was thrilled to get it. Used it twice, the butt sleeve splintered. Continued to try to use it, went to break, and the tip went flying off. Bummed, I took it from him to get it replaced because they offer a 1 year limited warranty. Got the next one in very quickly, sent the other one back. Next day, he went to shoot pool and the tip came flying off again. Just upsetting and will not be ordering a 3rd one, only to have something happen again. *eye roll*

Stick is completely hollow
The cue stick is hollow from the inside so it is more like a pipe than a stick. That is why it gives a very cheap feel and sound when hitting a shot. The weight of the stick is also messed up since its hollow. The only thing that gives it the weight is a rubber piece at the end of the handle. The cue stick I received also has a rattling sound, feels like some piece is lose inside. The tip is not leather as mentioned but wood (looks like chipboard)Good thing: (2 stars)It "looks" very nice and premium (but it's not really)I really like the handle grip & hand buffing near cue tip for smooth shots and less friction. (That is a nice touch, don't normally find it in traditional sticks)The price point is very good!Verdict:It might be good for very first-time beginners. But it is definitely not good if you're even a little below average player. If you're like me, who is an average pool player and wanted a decent personal cue stick this may not be for you.Personally, I dont think this cue stick will help better my game

Snapped on the first game
Bought this Nov/18, finally got around to using it and it snapped on the 1st game on the break. Very disappointed. Won't be ordering again.

Lightweight and good value for money
Update: I wrote to the company and they were very helpful in sending out new end pieces, however when we tried to install them, the cue stick cracked. They are too big in diameter and forcing it in cracked my cue! Love the weight and performance of this cue stick. Delivery was on time as promised as well. After about two months of playing twice a week with this cue the rubber end piece fell out and unfortunately I lost it. So other than looking a little funny at the end while playing, it’s still a decent cue for the money.
