Buy With Confidence!
This new, economical, and vastly improved version of an earlier line adapter is, hands down, an exceptional, functional line adapter! Cut your line, fold it in half, push the loop end through 'til it clicks, then pull it back tight. Done in seconds! The adapter installation is even easier, and very straight forward - unscrew the old; screw on the new!! And, replacing the used-up line pieces is the easiest of all: just push the bitter ends through to the center, grab the loop, and pull it out! Cake Walk!! Great concept! Sturdy build, like indestructible "Tonka Toy" plastic material! Great price! Quick delivery! BUY this adapter with confidence!I have a Toro power head (Outstanding!), and several "universal" (curved) attachments, one of which is my string trimmer. 12 years ago, I replaced the original "tap" style line feeder (that did little else but give me grief) with an earlier version of this line adapter. My replacement line adapter, back then, had the swiveling eyelets you fed your line through after folding each, of two, cut lengths in half. That one lasted 'til just now, i.e.,12+ years, hundreds of sorties, when both eyelets failed at once, (snap!) in heavy brush! Money well spent, especially back then!!

Worked well on my DEWALT 20V MAX XR String Trimmer
easy to install, easy to add line, trims well and my DEWALT 20V MAX XR String Trimmer doesn't spin hard enough to damage the string so it seems to last a long time. 3 trimming session with the same line, still doesn't need replaced. I will probably buy the same head for my Shindaiwa T-20 gas trimmer

A solid, easy to use trimmer head
I bought this trimmer head to replace another similar one that finally wore out. My old one used a single long trimmer line anchored at the center of the trimmer head. I prefer fixed line trimmer heads because I have found bump feed units to be NOT hassle free. This EZ lock head uses two shorter lines held in place with spring loaded latches. It is very easy to replace the trimmer line and doesn't need any tools to do so. The head is built well. The kit had the proper bolt to install it on my 10 year old Homelite trimmer. I was able to trim my whole yard (approx. 2 acres with house, mobile home, barn, shed, and two driveways) on one pair of trimmer lines. The pieces of line that come with it are somewhat short. I immediately swapped them out for longer lengths of 0.095 line. Not 5 stars for two reasons. First, the trimmer head is heavy relatively speaking. A fair amount of the torque from the trimmer motor is used up just keeping the trimmer head moving. I think that's why it's not recommended for electric trimmers. It was difficult for my trimmer to maintain head speed in thick weeds. Second, since it's moving two lines doubled over, I found it's cutting was not as clean as my single line trimmer head. Definitely works great on weeds and rough trimming. I would not recommend this if you want nice clean trimming action on grass.Review update: After using this trimmer head a few times, I need to point out a couple things. First, don't use 0.095 line like I suggested. It's too thick for the trimmer head. When you need to put in a new piece of line, the thick line is very hard to remove. The thicker line combined with the vegetative debris makes it nearly impossible to push the loop in and release the metal holding lever. Second, when using the shorter length of line, like the pieces that come with the trimmer head, the head speed stays much higher and doesn't get bogged down as easily in thicker grass/weeds. BOTTOM LINE (pun!), when used with the size and length of trimmer line that comes with the head, it works very nicely! Don't do what I tried. It doesn't make it work better.

Easy to install and use
The original bump-feed head on my Toro 51952 curved shaft string trimmer finally broke for the last time, so I needed a replacement. New heads from Toro are $45. I bought this EZ Lock head, and had it installed in 10 minutes. Most of that time was spent using a tap to chase the shaft threads on my trimmer , which were a little messed up. The EZ Lock comes with an assortment of bolts and nuts to fit many trimmer shafts, and my Toro uses the 5/16x18 short bolt that came in the kit. Once installed, I loaded the two lines, which is as simple as it gets. Push the line in, pull, and it locks. To release, flip the locking lever over and pull the line out.I started with some easy trimming, normal lawn grass trimming. Works great. Now for the big test, trimming the grass and weeds on the back of my range backstop. It hasn't been touched all summer. Tall stuff, and an assortment of grass and woody plants. It ate right into them, and did well until the long weeds wrapped themselves around the shaft. I had to stop every minute or so to cut off those weeds. This is because this trimmer head sits down further from the end of the curved shaft, allowing the weeds to wrap around. The original head did the same thing, just not quite as bad. That's just how it is when cutting tall grass and weeds.Overall, I like this EZ Lock trimmer head. Easy to install, works well, and appears to be well made. Half the price of a Toro replacement head, and easier to load line and use. If it continues to perform, I'm happy.

can be fit to many trimmers including curved shaft and battery op
Specifically listed in addition to fitting many trimmers, it can also be fitted to core elite, de walt 40v max, echo58v, greenworks 40v,80v digipro. kobalt 80v, ryobi 40v-x. With a fair amount of tailoring (adding extra washers under cone to prevent weeds from wrapping around shaft) I succeeded in mounting it on to my battery operated Greenworks.40v digipro am very impressed by its performance on very high weeds. I am totally blown away by the fact that the trimmer strings that are cut, folded, and very easily and quickly installed far outperform and outlast bump-type trimmer string heads. String installation is vastly faster and easier than spools. Performance is extraordinary for its ridiculously low price.
