Everything as expected. I received everything on time, and the boxing/packaging is quality. Very modern. And then you see your pottery and you're taken back in time to something culturally old, even though the product is new. This adds to the aesthetic of making Japanese tea the traditional way.I made tea in it almost immediately. It was fun and there was something about it all that seemed to maintain a bit of something magical. No magic to it, it does exactly what you expect. It brewed my tea, but in a traditionally inspired way.So, if your goal is to make japanese tea, the traditional way, in a kyusu that keeps with what feels like tradition, and is aesthetically neat to look at, then this is for you

This is a very nice kit, like the rough and organic material. I use them everyday. But the teapot drips when pouring water and makes the table messy so I have to put a kitchen towel under it to keep everything clean, guess this is the only thing I dislike. But it won't stop me liking them though.

This tea set is very simple in design and of very good quality. However, it only has two cups and the capacity is not large enough. Therefore, it is very suitable for one or two people. It is not suitable for more than two people.

I bought this as a gift to someone. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and aesthetics. It has an excellent price range for the quality and I would highly recommend anyone to buy this as a gift or for themselves.

This is probably for someone who is into ultra traditional pottery. But for everyday use, the lack of metal net (inside or as an insert) is minus. Plus, the finish is rough and somewhat "metallic" not a warm feeling. The cups are very good though.

A beautiful piece of handcrafted pottery. And perfectly functional. Takes the experience of making n enjoying tea to a higher ritualistic level.

The media could not be loaded. It was beautify color but arrrived broken.Now I have to find Christmas gift again to my friend. Very dissapeared!They should be more better packed.

It's a very rustic type of design. It feels rough, and that is the aesthetic one should expect from this sort of piece. Beauty in the imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.Do note, the finish is very silvery. Much more than it appears in the pictures. Almost to the point where you will ride eternal, shiny and chrome. :p
