I’ve purchased two sets of these cleats and I’m super satisfied with them. They are very easy to install, well built, functional, and look good when installed on the gunnels of my Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW. I highly recommend.

Used to tie down a canoe on a camper shell. Worked well, everything is stainless including hardware. Much higher quality than expected.

Very nice product although one latch was very difficult to open due to the ball bearing being very tight

I thought the folding cleats were made well and the finished product was excellent. Easy to install, I used fender washers to give more strength against the under side of the fiberglass. I looked at a lot of them on Amazon and kind of bought the middle of the road priced product. I don't think you can go wrong with these on your boat. I'm very pleased, I'm going to buy another set.

Good quality parts that were easy to install. They are working great and appear durable. Was pleasantly surprised.

My magnet does stick to these a little so it is probably a little lower grade than 316. I have other 316 stainless products and my magnets do not stick to them. I purchased 6 for these. I wanted 3 on each side of my boat. They are very nice BUT check them when you get them in case you need to do a return like I had to on 2 of them. 2 of them were sooooo tight to open that I needed a screw driver to pry them open. I almost split a thumbnail backward trying to open one of them...ouch! Something was faulty in the ball bearing and spring locking mechanism on them that slid by quality control on the assembly line. That is IF there is any quality control/testing before they just package them up and ship them off. But when you get a good one they seem pretty nice. They do have a little iron in them tho as my magnet proved but it barely stuck to them. My guess is they may not rust. Only time will tell. Bummed I have to drive 9.5 miles round trip to do a return at Kohl's. If quality control people had been doing their job I would not have had to waste a half hour out of my day. Reason for the 3 stars. The product itself is a solid 4.7 Stars when you get a good one. Recommended unless you find some claiming 316 Stainless that are cheaper.

I like that they fold. Easy to install. Easy to use.
