Amazon Basics Packing Tape, bought this item, in 2022, we were packing up a lot of items, and had run out of the 2 different name brands we use Thought I would give Amazon Basics packing tape a try. It is Awful...found the several rolls, I had purchased, have tried, Emphasis TRIED to use, several times,,the tape does not fit into the stated core size, tape dispenser, any brand,]Attempting to start to use a roll, takes great patience, and time, to get the tape to pull in correct direction, and to get the entire width of the tape, together. The tape, more times then not, frays, while using to tape up boxes, I have wasted, multiple yards of this packing tape, trying to unwind, to where the first " fray " in tape roll occurred, no easy task, have used exact o knife, Swiss Army Knife, to attempt to cut through the wasted layers used up, by tape fray. Have spent more time, then I care to admit, just attempting to use the packing tape. I would ask for Full Refund, if I had used & noticed the intolerable inability to use. We have gone strictly back,, to 2 name brand Packing Tapes, we know well, and both function great. Buy the brands you know work.Would give rating a Minus Stars, if that rating were possible, since it is not. I STAR
