This is the best little thermos I ever bought
This is the best little thermos I ever bought. Every morning at work I was buying oatmeal for breakfast .They make it early and it sits- it wasn't as tasty as when I make it at home. I searched high and low for a small food jar and this is what I bought. In the morning I put boiling water in the thermos while I take my shower. Then I put boiling water/ 1% milk in the thermos. I take the oatmeal to work (1/2 cup of Old Fashion Quaker Oats) 1 hr before I want to have the oatmeal I put the oatmeal flakes in, stir it, cover it and I have oatmeal the way I like it an hour later. This thermos has more than paid for itself with the money I saved not buying oatmeal at work and it tastes better. I'm having the oatmeal MY WAY..

It’s a Little Annoying to Clean
This is a nice quality container and keeps things hot until lunchtime. It does its job and does it well.My complaint is cleaning it. It disassembles into 4 pieces. A white ring comes off the base, presumable a piece that protects the sharp edge of the metal. Also, a soft ring comes off the underside of the lid. I suppose that it could be washed with these pieces still attached, but they hold water and would mold underneath.Other similar containers have only 2 pieces – a lid and a bottom. These containers are much less annoying to clean.

Disappointment
Did not proform as well as my previous Zell Vacuum insulated container. The one I had previously, I fell in love with instantly but unfortunately it fell and the leak proof ring broke. So while it still keeps my food hot/warm I cannot use it for anything like soup or it will leak. Not sure if the difference in performance has to do with these being made of plastic while my previous one was stainless steel. Anyway huge disappointed. Contacted the sell who promised to send me a replacement of the broken container but I have not received anything too date.

Not for liquids
This product is probably ok if you don't have to travel with it. It doesn't seal well - it doesn't leak but when I opened the lid, I could see the liquid contents had surrounded the outside of the lip of the inner container. Also after washing, there was still some water between the outer shell and the inner shell that I couldn't see until it dribbled all over me.

This is a really good size for a lunch meal and I like the way it's made. But I think its claim of keeping hot food hot for 4 hours is a bit exaggerated. When I heat soup to almost boiling and fill it in the morning, within 2 hours it has begun to lose significant temperature. Waiting 4 hours would make it feel more like room temperature.

Not hot enough
Seems sturdy, my son dented it in the fist week we had it... didn't take much. Doesn't keep food as hot as I was hoping because after only having super piping hit food inside, when opened it was only at 120° which from a food safety look is in the danger zone. FOODS should be kept at 140° This is the temperature that’s required to keep bacteria at bay.

good
The little white ring on it broke when it got dropped but it still works. The gasket comes off fairly easy for cleaning. I wish it didn't have that plastic piece. Not sure why it is there other than to snap off when the thing gets dropped.

Not hot/Not cold!
I thought these would be perfect for lunch at the office but they do not keep food cold or hot for more than a couple hours. Maybe that's all they are supposed to do but it was not what I understood from the advertisement. Already put them in the yard sale pile with my other not so good purchases!
