Dell Inspiron 3793 - 17 OK
Dell Inspiron 3793 - 17 running Windows 10 works good. Can't get used to the idea of "subscribing" to MS Office Suite. Like Windows 7 OS better.

I would recommend this product.
I really like the product. It is what I really need. Delivery was awesome! Got it one day earlier than originally scheduled.

One issue so far
Had it for some months. Overall, a good machine. But if you rest your hand on the lower left corner of the frame (which is natural), it will press on it, and engage a "left click" on the touchpad. Which can have all kinds of unintended consequences, up to deleting more files than you were going to. The professional line of Dell laptops has zero play in that area, so Dell seems to just have cut a corner there, literally and figuratively.

Defective out of the box
I bought this Dell laptop new from an Amazon vendor. When I took it out of the box and tried to connect to the internet, neither Dell nor ATT tech support were able to help me. The tab key did not work, the arrow keys did not work, the imaging on the set up screens arbitrarily drifted around the screen and wouldn’t redirect when I used the cursor, enter key or the touch pad. I turned the device off, and it TURNED ITSELF ON in the middle of the night and the loud voice on the setup app named Cortana woke me out of a sound sleep. I realize this is not a perfect world and there is defective merchandise out there; however, Amazon charged me a “restocking fee” for this of nearly fifty dollars. I do hope they don’t “restock” this defective device and sell it to someone else, because they will likely get it back again. In fairness, I did not have to pay shipping on this but I would have gladly paid shipping rather than a “restocking fee”. I bought another computer direct from Dell which was set up easily and on the internet with their wonderful tech support. Be advised if one buys a computer from an Amazon vendor such as the defective one I bought, the device manufacturer will charge you to troubleshoot the problem and refund if the device is indeed defective. My opinion is that I should not be charged a “restocking fee” for returning defective merchandise and I would not do business like that with customers. I wouldn’t have returned the computer if I’d been able to use it. I’m an Amazon Prime customer and have bought much merchandise from Amazon in the past.

The Dell Verdict is Still Out
Is it just me or has MS Windows finally gotten too unwieldy? After all, who needs all the bells and whistles that Windows 10 & 11 offer?

garbage.
I bought this on Dec 5, 2020, it's Jan 6, 2021, one month later. I haven't had this laptop a month if you add in shipping time and already I've had a 'recovery blue screen' windows didn't load properly message among other problems. I want to return this for a full refund or another laptop. I've maybe used this a total of 6 times. SIX TIMES. and this is happening. It's been buggy since I got it. Pure trash. I'm so angry right now.

Overall, it is a nice laptop. Battery life is not as long as I expected.
