Faint scent, texture you can feel
There is a slight tropical scent to this which is fleeting, a plus in my books because I'm sensitive to smells. My hair is fine and stick-straight so it doesn't give me waves, but this -does- give texture for product and styles to grab on to! Worth it, if you're trying something new. This is ever so faintly sticky until completely dry, but not enough to make your hair clumpy, just giving that ocean spray feeling.

The only sea salt spray you need!! MUST BUY!
I bought this because I really like the not your mothers brand of hair products. First let me start off by the smell!!! Every time I use this in my hair people stop me and say how good I smell (and it’s not for my perfume!) I’ve been told I smell like the beach or make them wanna go on vacation lol it smells like coconut and I love it!! Second I’ve noticed the older I get my straight hair has started getting wavy so when I want the “curly but not crunchy” look I use this! Mousse was always my go to but it would be so crunchy and Lord help you if your hair poked you in your eye! This makes your house soft and touchable while giving you texture, volume, and curls for days!! I spray it on damp hair and then blow dry and scrunch it a little as I dry it. It lasts all day and even second day!! I e had so many compliments on how my hair looks when I use this product so I highly recommend it!!

Works great, smells great, and so on...
I gave a 3 star to the softness but that's not actually a bad thing if you're aware you're buying something that gives a "beach" type hair effect. Unless there's something I don't know every beach type hair styling product gives a bit of crunch for lack of a better word to your hair and I've never gotten a soft effect. That being said my 3 star is actually because it's a 5 star. I wasn't sure I'd like the whole smelling like a banana thing but it's actually not bad. I even went to the zoo and a monkey tried to eat my hair even though it's purple not yellow!!! I didn't take any chances and avoided the gorilla's and arangotangs because the fact that I think they have opposable thumbs even on their feet tells me I could get a run for my money if one of them wants to dance. So yea it's a pretty exciting hair product that works well, smells great, and can really make things happen in your life if you take chances like I do🐒🦍🍌

Product Endorsement From A Dirty Hippie
Southern California, born and raised, on the beach is where I spent most of my days... until I decided to move to the frosty Rocky Mountains. I've been missing that brittle, dirty, gross seawater hair, and was super surprised to find a product that was marketed to those of us who desire running our fingers through one-to-two inches of our hair before reaching an irreparable nest of tangles created by the lovely ocean waves and delicate granules of sand.I had to use a ton of this spray to inspire my hair to "softly wave." Like, a lot. Like, maybe I'll get 10 good uses out of this bottle. My hair waves were so subtle, there is a chance my hair would wave similarly if I just sprayed it with regular water from my sink. The smell is weirdish but okay. Sort of chemically. I wish it smelled more like rotting kelp to keep it beach-consistent, but that's probably just me.The texture of my hair was very reminiscent to beach hair. A+ dry, gritty feel. It was so accurately beach hair that I cannot wear my hair down after using the spray - it's gotta go up in a ponytail. This will NOT give your hair that fake-beach-hair-but-i'm-actually-a-sports-illustrated-model-posing-on-a-beach-and-i-just-deep-conditioned look. This is the real deal - your hair will feel a thousand times nastier than it looks, and running your fingers through it will leave a chalky (SANDY?) residue on your hands. All in all, I think this product does exactly what it says it will do and I am not really disappointed in its performance (except maybe the lack of ocean funk aroma). However, if you want your hair to be luxurious and care about your coworkers believing that you shower, maybe this isn't the product for you. [NYM Beach Babe Dry Shampoo might be more your style.]

Beach is my happy place
Value for money is great! Bought it for my son and tried it myself...sooo glad it came in a two pack so I can have a bottle all to myself now. The scent is a amazing if you like that ole school coconut tanning oil sent. Send me back to my childhood memories. It definitely does give you that salty water beach feel. It adds texture and thickness. Just don't be like my boy and use it like three times a day because it does have a residue build which is not uncommon and can tangle your hair especially if you have fully hair. Overall its a great product we love it.

Nice waves, STRONG scent.
This arrived on Monday and was leaking all over. Thankfully the other items in my shipment were boxed well and not damaged. Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the lids on the bottles were loose. (Apparently this is a common issue since I just read through and found a lot of comments about this...) One lid was so loose that the bottle was half empty! I contacted Amazon and they issued a refund. Today (Wednesday), I used the product for the first time. I applied it to dry hair and the scent is so strong it has given me a headache and is making my lungs hurt. I will try it again on wet hair and use a diffuser to see if it’s any different.Tone down the scent and package the items better - make sure the lids are tight. I’m giving this 3 stars for now because the product did give me nice waves and it does smells good, the scent is just overpowering once it’s been applied. I’ll update once I try applying to wet hair and use a diffuser.
