Works on super duty also
I have a 2018 F350 Platinum and this thing fit perfectly. The F150s and the Super duties now all share the same cab (2017-current 2019) so although they don’t advertise that it will fit in the superduties, it will. Also this product is about half the price of its competitors so it was a no brainer. The quality is on par, if not better than its competitors also. The installation took about 10 minutes, and like others have stated, you can still use the tray that came with your truck. I wish it came with the combination lock or that it didn’t cost $30 to buy one but the key lock is high quality and tamper restiant. My wife also prefers this brand over the competitors because the opening is full width and allows her to put her purse inside. The competitors opening is much smaller which makes it difficult to place items inside and retrieve them.

Great product
This is a great product. Great quality and certainly makes me feel comfortable leaving my valuables secured inside this safe. I bought the additional combo lock as well and it integrates perfectly. The install was a little difficult because there's not a whole lot of room to work inside the console, but I was able to get it done with some patience. No tools or modifying of the console was required, and it's very secure, solid and well made product. I highly recommend this one.

NOTE: Lost access to half of the front seat 12 volt power points.
After it was opened and installed it met my expectations for fit, appearance and quality. I did not find it that difficult to install. The advise to remove the pad in the bottom (also listed in the instructions) is a must. I also found it easier to install the front and rear brackets loosely before folding down the front and rear legs completely. The one disappointment was that while it advertises that you will still have access to the 12 volt power outlet in the bottom of the console, that is ONLY true of something that is inside the console (like charging your cellphone while it's IN the safe). There is no provision for running a cord past the safe to power something outside the console so be prepare to loose half your front seat 12 volt power access.

Okay for quick security, simple quick install.
Great product for what it is, think its price point should be lower though. I could break into it pretty quick but I do not believe most criminals would be carrying the needed tools to make a quick break in, so have to say it is a good deterrent. To be fair most locked bed boxes are just as easy to break into but most thieves would go for easier targets, fast in fast out. Using the vehicle console plastics sides is not really a worry as that would be the time consuming way to defeat this product. Much faster from above. Install was simple and took me less than 5 minutes but unlike other reviewers, the first thing I did was throw away the instructions before ever reading them. Do yourself a favor if you install this one and use the YouTube videos. Just an hex wrench, a Philips screw driver, and a 12mm socket and ratchet is all I needed to install. The full size tray will NOT work with this product, and not all half trays will wither.

Does not fit all f150 trucks as the title says
I bought this for my 2017 f150 xlt and fit right in and bought same box for my 2022 f150 lariat powerboost cause the title said all f150s 2015+ but they changed the inner dimensions of the console so it no longer fits.

Perfect fit
its sturdy and doesn't take away from the overall storage capacity of the console, and the lock is easily swapped out for a combo dial if wanted. You are able to adjust the tension on the swing so if you want it to be supper tight or swing loose when opening you have the option for that. combined with console divider or even a magnetic wall mount for your firearm it gives you enough space when open to maneuver around inside.

Good for making access difficult
Bought this for my new F150. I admit I didn't look too in-depth at the description, but I envisioned a full metal box with locking lid. What it is, is a locking lid with four legs, essentially. It uses the plastic console of the truck as it's "sides". Having said that, I have no idea how difficult it would be for someone to pull the console apart, but it certainly would make someone work at it. Personally, I don't think I'd leave something like a pistol in there, it's not a safe. I also bought this because it is made in USA. Now, my real issue(s) with giving it a 3 instead of higher: I read reviews mentioning difficulty getting to the screws and tightening them due to the tight spaces. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so I wasn't too concerned. It was an install where you need to hold 2 parts together (the lid assembly and a bracket - one for front and one for back), all while trying to line the holes up and start a screw. For me, all while trying to balance myself on my knees on the truck seat. I can tell you I had a hell of a time with one of the screws for the front bracket. After not being able to get it started and having dropped it a dozen times, I had to give my back a rest and take it back out. I inspected the bracket and found out why I had so much trouble. The round nut, which is pressed into place on the underside the bracket, was offset just enough from the hole in the bracket to not allow the threads of the screw to get started. I tried using another screw (same size) to go in from the underside to "tap" the bracket hole, but of course the round nut twisted right off. Very frustrated. I was able to just use a regular nut and a lock washer I happened to have, but not everyone just has those laying around. Quality control aside, that I guess can happen in production. I will say, I went on the company's website and messaged them the issue I had. Haven't heard anything back. Also very frustrating.

Strong Box
I was looking at this for a while. I finally purchased it after looking at the other options out there. I just received it and installed it so I can't give a lengthy write up how it will stand up over time, but this appears to be a sturdy piece of equipment that will do the job. My advice is watch the installation videos a couple times. Have a short Phillips head ready to secure the bottom screws. Use the the tip in one of the videos to drop the back part of the unit to line up the screws in the rear flange. If possible have someone around to help hold things while you are trying to screw things in. Installation was easy, but the bigger you are the more difficult it is because of the space and the small screws. Another helpful tip was to remove the rubber mat on the bottom of the console before installation. That makes it fit better and you just place it over the cross members when you are done. I included some pictures of the box, the unit before installation, the installed unit with the rubber mat back in place and the unit closed with the junk tray in place. The tray will have to stay on the driver's side of the lock due to spacing. I like this console safe but we will see how it holds up over time.
