Tiny cardboard packaging, great for storing and less waste. Cleans effectively, good size and feels comfortable on hands, love that they can go in compost when done! Can't comment on longevity yet but seem durable enough so far.

Fantastic simple product. Basic packaging, little sponges do exactly what they should, and eco friendly to. Just as good as anything else on the market is not better.The way forward.

These sponges are great. I haven't used them for the conventional purpose, but have instead made reusable alternatives to water balloons. I cut them into strips then tied them together in a star shape. My children soak them in water and throw them at each other. They are so much more environmentally friendly than traditional water balloons and they work well, plus I can compost them when they eventually start to fall apart. The colours look nice too. They have already had a lot of use and are holding up well.When I finish my current washing up sponges I will definitely be getting some for use in the kitchen. There is the added bonus of how small a Oak they come in. A pack of 12 regular sponges from the supermarket takes up quite a lot of space on the shelves. These take up far less space, but they expand really well in water.

I’m a big fan of the Composty products and quality wise these are in keeping with their excellent standards and commitment to the environment. In case you’re not familiar with this product, each sponge resembles a small piece of thick, coloured card that swells in size once it’s immersed in water. They’re nice to use and certainly reasonably durable. They appear to tick all the boxes: easy to store; great value; minimal environmental impact, etc. However, as a general purpose sponge, I think it is far too small. If I wanted to use these for washing up, to dab a stain out of something or wipe over something small then this is ideal. If I was after an all purpose sponge for a lot of cleaning tasks around the home, this is not it. I have medium sized hands and one cloth fits in the palm of my hand which is ok but doesn’t feel anywhere big enough to replace my cheap but larger store-bought bathroom cleaning sponge; or for washing windows, or for any of the other regular tasks around my home.

Fast delivery. It comes through the letterbox which means we don’t need to be in when they delivered it.The package is a cardboard box and a cornstarch based package that can go in the compost, which is good since I’m trying my best to avoid plastic.The sponges are firm and absorbent, they expand when in water, and I was quite tempted to put them all in water to see they all pop up at once but I have resisted. They are suitable for all sorts of surfaces, kitchen counter, showers, porcelains and tiles etc. Very versatile sponges, Smooth to wipe and easy to rinse.I liked the fact that it comes in different colours since I’m able to colour coordinate my cleaning especially with pandemic times (I use blue for the loo, pink for the sink, and yellow is to mellow = kitchen)it’s great to know that when those sponges are ‘worse for wear’ I’ll be able to pop them in the compost right away, stop going to landfill.Overall this great set of sponges and will definitely get more for myself and for my friends too. Definitely worth the investment. 5 stars!

These are really handy little sponges that last quite a while. They come compressed into very thin flat sheets and it's extremely satisfying to watch them expand when you add water - definitely something to appeal to anyone who is a child at heart! They clean well and each sponge lasts me a few weeks of light use (dishwashing, wiping my kitchen countertops), though might only last one session of very heavy scrubbing fi you are using them outside of the kitchen. They appear to be home compostable, but I'm waiting to see if they really are. I'll try to remember to update this review when I see my finished compost in a few months time.I've already bought these again. Really impressed.
