Awesome
This helps me so much. I'm paralyzed from the waist down and unable to reach my light at the bedside. Clap my hands and it turns off and on. Some times when you talk loud or the windows are open and a.loud car or a semi goes by it will turn off and on. Lol. But it does the purpose for what in need.

this clapper sucks
first off two nobs at the bottom prevent this from plugging in fleshly against the socket by design. So you have exposed metal causing a potential fire Hazzard if something falls in behind it. Second, when you go to plug in your lamps, they don't want to stay in the plug in. Way too loose. 3rd, I could only get the clapper to work on most sensitive setting and even then had to be within 4 feet of the clapper and bang very very loud to the point it hurt my hands just trying to set up 2 lamps on it. This thing is worthless and I'm throwing both of them away. Don't buy this brand or you will regret it.

Activates with ANY noise
It will go on and off Constantly with Any sound (2 or 3 in a row) including vacuum (really!?) or dog barking... That's quite annoying!

Clapping takes timing but easy to learn
The CLAPPER has the ability to hold 2 plugs and each requires a different pattern. One needs two claps/sounds and the other takes three.Once you learn how hard to clap they work well.Yes, I can recommend them.

Worthless. Keep your money in your pocket.
This came in a 2-pack. 2 Problems. Problem 1: The "clapper" caused the light in our lamp to flicker, which the lamp never did before. That lamp quit flickering as soon as we unconnected it with the "clapper". Problem 2: My husband could make lights in the lamps turn off and on with a clap, when clapping as hard as he could. Not me, I couldn't get it to work. I guess my hands aren't strong enough to make the loud kind of clap that this thing needs.

I guess my hands don't work
I've always wanted to try a clapper, so I bought myself a set. I was not home for a while, and finally got around to trying them out. I could not get them to work, and it was too late to return them. Strangely, when I asked a few friends to try them, they worked...but when I tried, they did not. So apparently, I just don't have the right clap. I am sad, but this was my experience.
