Effective but fragile
I ordered a first unit for my wife, who is an avid book reader. She loves the anchor, which allows her to read hands-free and does not lose her page if she needs to put the book aside. However, the unit failed after 7 months of use when one of the pins broke off. Because she loved the first one so much I reordered, but I think the construction could easily be made stronger and more durable.

This Creative Anchor Bookmark for Reading was very good and works perfect

Seemed like a good idea at the time
It works as shown but takes some wiggling to get it set between the right pages for support. The anchor shapes and prongs will dent your book pages and if you read quickly, you'll be taking this thing on and off constantly. Lots of fumbling around. Holding the page down with a thumb still the best solution.
