The item arrived quickly and was packaged appropriately. I did notice, like other reviewers noted that part of the black paint located on the left edge of the hitch had chipped off.Installation was quick and easy.But also as noted by multiple reviewers, when I attached my cargo platform into the receiver I noticed that there is alot of "play", causing the platform to swing side to side and up and down. I used a heavy, thick steel washer inserted into the gap to lessen the sway, but there is still more than I would like.Overall, this bolt-on receiver is a good deal and will serve it's purpose well.

This bumper hitch attachment has been perfect for our bike rack! I had to slide the spare tire over to make room but installing this was simple! I installed it on top of the bumper to give more clearance to my bike rack and it has worked great!One annoyance and concern is that for lighter attachments, this hitch receiver does not hold firm and I found that my bike rack bounced up and down after initial install. To correct this I hammered in a wood shim to tighten the hold. This corrected the issue.This receiver lasted a 2000 mile trip on the back of our camper without having to tighten it once! Definitely recommend!

Bolts up and works as described. Using one of these on a 4 inch bumper allowed me to add a bicycle carrier to my motorhome and still tow my toad. The reason for the three stars is because the extra strain on the bumper holding up three bicycles caused the bumper to distort, (twist) allowing the bikes and carrier to tilt backward somewhat. It did not do any major damage to the bumper but it did unnerve me some on a 1500 mile trip thinking the bumper would give way and dump 3 bikes on the road in front of the toad with predictable results. I intend to order a dual receiver hitch extension instead of this hitch which will be a lot safer and give me a more secure feeling.

Holds my bike rack nice and high over the road. I installed it upside down to give the additional height. Easy install and the product includes a gift for registering. The only reason I gave it 4 stars on easy to install is because it would be a good idea to have a torque spec and small diagram showing what order the washers go in.Otherwise it's a great product and is very sturdy.

The receiver fits perfectly and appears to be made well. The only problem I see is the receiver opening is a little too big. There is quite a bit of play when my cargo rack is inserted. I will probably have to shim it up some for it too fit in tight.
