A bit snug for a normal sized foot.
I tugged the toe part out several times a day, as I felt confined. More than socks confine my toes. I prefer bare feet but I can't do that at work. These give me the protection I wanted from stickiness, and didn't slip too much. I found I adjusted them more than I wanted to. I wear size 8 shoes wide, if that helps. I do like the lace that peeps out sometimes, much much better than a boring edge that looks out of place.
