Best small tent I have ever owned
This tent is fabulous! Extremely stable in high wind. Lots of room for the size/weight of the tent. It's easy to put up and there is a Coleman promotional/instructional video on YouTube if you are inquizative or not familiar with tents. The 4,000 HH ripstop flysheet is very durable and has never leaked (owned the tent for just over a year & been exposed to very bad mountain weather). There is good ventilation, organisation pockets on the inner tent and a totch/lantern hook. The zips are of high quality, but make sure you don't catch them along the storm flaps. It's very handy having two door access and the vestibule is of a good size.On the model I received (the latest version) there is no Groundsheet in the vestibule - keeps weight down. Just buy a cheep groundsheet if this bothers you, they are available on Amazon that fit this tent perfectly. There's enough space inside for a double blow up bed and space to stash gear. Also, the pole construction on this tent means there is less wind noise from the fabric. It is rock solid after all! There is an instruction on the inside of the tent, that you cannot cook inside the tent. One more note, I've never had a problem getting this tent back in its bag either. I know this will be important to some people! The only improvements I could make to this tent are, the possible addition of a small viewing window in the vestibule and higher visibility guy lines.5 Stars, Highly recommended!

Brilliant tent.
I purchased this mid priced tent after 3 cheap tents had only survived one season each before failing with some defect - zips going, leaking, tearing etc. So I decided to spend a bit more in the hope of something proving better quality and durability. I have just retuned from a 5 week camping holiday in France, Italy and Spain and so far this Tatra 3 has proved to be everything I need in a tent. It has seen torrential rain in the Italian Alps, nice sun in Spain and a mixture of weather in France. It is easy to put up alone and the pole design provides a nice taught outer skin which the rain runs off and doesn't pool. It also comes down easily and packs away in its sack without any problems. One thing that did concern me was that with the outer skin being tight, the 2 x entrance door zips are quite stiff to open due to the stretch but they seem to be fine. One other complaint is the lack of a ground sheet for the vestibule area. The sewn in ground sheet for the inner section is fine but I feel that the storage area should be provided with a ground sheet as well - ideally provided with the tent as a standard fixture, but if not, at least as an extra. Fortunately one of my old cheap tents had a ground sheet that fits the area, but if a cheap tent has one, I would expect one to be provided with a more expensive tent. Apart from that its brilliant although I would say the 3 man tent is good for 2 people, it would be a tight squeeze to get 3 adults in.

Great tent for motrcycle touring
Bought this tent for my girlfriend and I to use on out motorcycle trips due to the large vestibule area. It performed very well in the Lake District and Iceland last year, keeping us and our gear dry and warm, although we were lucky with the weather on both trips. On the occasions it did rain there was some condensation on the inside of the outer tent. The tent is not perfect however, I found that the rear end of the tent is very shallow and its also not that taut, so the inner and outer tents do touch a little, this means that the inside can get a little damp and you have to sleep with your head at the door end, otherwise your head is touching the inner tent. Other than this, Its a good tent, spacious, relatively light, good for motorcycle touring, pretty quick to erect, a little expensive.

Perfect solo motorcycling tent.
I needed a tent for solo motorcycle camping and this fits the bill perfectly. It is easy to erect, with the inner tent permanently attached and even more so now that the material has stretched to allow easier insertion of the poles. It has ample room for one, meaning I can get my panniers, etc inside and out of the weather, but I think it would be too small to be a true two-person tent. Ventilation is excellent and I've survived a night of moderate rain with no leaks. It packs down into a small package that is easily lashed on the carrier. Oh, and I think it is quite elegant as well. Very satisfied.

Overall happy with the tent, roomy good quality except 4 of the eyelets came out first time I pitched it!! Will need to repair myself as there is no way that I can see to contact the company due to the time delay!

Tatra 2
I found the tent to be very awkward to put up ,the poles seem to miss the inner linings and get stuck making you have to keep taking them out and starting again, once the poles were inserted it then took all of your strength to bend the poles into the appropriate holes.Once erected it all seemed to tight and on the very first night the porch zip came apart and I was left with an open flap for the rest of the holiday, all in all a very disappointing purchase.I returned the tent to Amazon who immediately refunded my money without a quibble.I would not recommend this tent unless they modify the design.

not really for backpacking, but good quality
very nice tent, i managed to put it up single handed in under 10 minutes, the only problem occurred was getting the poles to the "arc" it takes a fair bit of hand/arm strength, which i apparently dont have! but i got there in the end , even if the air got a little blue! The search i used was for a hiking tent but this wouldn't suit everyone, well, not unless you carry a very large pack, it is fairly bulky, even in a compressed form you cant really strap it to the outside of the pack either, i guess if there are 2 of you , you could split the canvas from the poles to lighten it a little, i hike with my dog however so, this will probably be used for regular camping rather than hiking.should point out that the porch area doesn't have any ground cover, in case that's a problem.
