The shoes are useful for the very hot summer days when the pavement will hurt dog's paws. I wish they came in a larger size. The largest size barely fits my corgi, but I think they work well for smaller dogs.

You’ll need two hands to put them on your dog. They don’t want to stay on no matter how tight I got them. It’ll take him a little to get used to them. I got them for summer and winter use.

It's gonna take a little bit for my dog to get used to wearing them. They fit her front paws pretty good, but the back paws are longer and her heel bone sticks out of the shoe... other than that I think it will work for her short walks so she doesn't burn her feet in this Texas heat.

We have 14 lb 4 years old Coton de tulear dog. Size 5 fits perfect. It is easy to put them on and take them out, it is comfortable. We have tried so many dog boots. This is the one we keep buying over and over. When we were over seas we consumed 1 pair every month. It protected her paw pads being cut or thorn being embedded in her paws. It does not come off easily while she is walking. It is good for long walking. The only things is it gets really wet on rainy days. We wish they were water proof material. That would be excellent.

I really wanted to love these shoes as they are very well priced and pretty cute! They are functional for what they are to be used for, they do really help with the hot pavement and after some practice my dog can kind of walk in them. I have a 6 pound Yorky who is extremely high maintenance and constantly has allergies. I got the shoes to help protect her feet from the hot SoCal pavement and also to see if it would help her with her constantly licking the feet during the summer caused by the Allergies. I like the construction of the shoe, the base does seem to have a cushion and heating system padding; I haven’t tried it in the rain because unfortunately in Southern California rain is nonexistent. However they are so incredibly difficult to put on. My dog hates putting them on at this point so do I! ( as you can see from the photo ) It take me about 10 minutes to get all four of them on and I have to adjust them multiple times when we’re on the Walk. Her feet are so small that it is extremely difficult to actually get them all the way down to the padding area and she also throws is a tantrum every time I try to put them on. Obviously :-) I spoiled her too much, but the truth is they are extremely difficult to get on her feet which is not what I’m looking for whatever I’m trying to throw them on for a quick for a walk around the neighborhood. I do like them and will be keeping them because they do function on her feet and she has learned to walk in the well but I will also be looking for another version that has velcrow straps that I think it’s gonna be a lot easier.I am a preschool teacher and know that the easiest kids shoes have Velcro so I’m hoping that translates to spoiled doggo shoes too!

This is one of several pairs of these style booties I ordered but had to send them back like the rest of them. I think my dog just hates having anything on her feet, because she gets them off in no time. They do have an adjustable drawstring to tighten them, but that was no match for my lab. Prob good for smaller dogs.

The media could not be loaded.  UPDATE Oct 10, 2022:They do work great and just today, definitely had to use them on our doggie as the sand on the beach was EXTREMELY hot here in San Carlos, Mexico…so hot that flipped sand onto the tops of your feet (wearing flip-flops) burned. Our doggie had no issues with her booties on.But they are wearing out in the soles and two now have small holes. I can’t sew them shut as they’re not tears, but wear type of holes. I am considering a different bootie with a rubber sole if I can find one. If not, I’ll reorder these again.=============ORIGINAL REVIEWI like the light weight of the booties, but am not too thrilled by the elastic ties as they flap around a bit. Our solution was to put her paw thru the loop coming off the initial clamp. But on a good note, our doggie has no issues with them and got used to them within a minute :-). Other than that, they do protect her from the hot pavement here in Mexico where it gets over 100° during the summer of 2021. No other concerns and we're happy with the purchase. The attached video was from August of 2021 on one of our trips back to the states where we first had our doggie try them on. We hadn't discovered pulling the loop back paws trick to stop the flapping of the ties ;-). Also, our doggie is a Shug (Shih Tzu/Pug and weighs 17lbs. We opted for the size 5 booties.UPDATE 4/19/22: Its been a good 6 or 7 months since we've needed them, and we needed them just the othe day. I did notice that we are getting some wear on some of her booties, but it's not a big issue but it'd be nice if the soles were made of a thicker material. I hope they will last for this summer, and we'll revisit this purchase and see about order another set.

Fits perfect for my Chihuahua. I have bought these at least 4 times different colors. My Chihuahua needs to wear them to keep from scratching herself . And wear outside to protect her feet. She wears them out. I always buy 2 sets at a time. I really suggest these booties they are perfect

Still too big for Morkie size feet, just slips off during a walk.🤪

Received on time but way too small

The boots are as ordered. I thought they would come up a little higher on his legs. Once tightened the strings are longer than needed.

We were so happy for our Lola to get her first booties!Everything was perfect we tested them out outside as she ran 2 went flying offI won't judge them too hard because we bought them for when it snows, I can tweak them so they don't come off by adding socks to sit tighterover all good quality for the price, no regrets

I have purchased this item previously and now the quality is changed. It was more durable before but still does the job, It is a cheaper fabric though.
