Initially, I felt this was a bit pricey, but the pasta was truly delicious and worth the extra $$. This particular shape is well suited for pesto, and as I understand it, it is the preferred pasta for pesto in Liguria. I would happily serve this again.

Excellent pasta for pesto. The Whole Foods near me claims to sell it, but I’ve never been able to find it there.

This is my favorite pasta shape by far. It’s unusual. It’s nice because sauces will adhere to the shape!This brand is terrific, in my opinion. I don’t mind paying extra. It’s special.

Worth the purchase

I bought this pasta at an italian specialty store just to try something different. I made it for dinner and literally got "wows" and "awesomes" from the wife and kids. The texture is far superior to typical dried pasta, it tastes as delicate as fresh pasta but is obviously way more convenient since it is dry.I could not remember where I bought it and was happy to see it available via Amazon. I bought a few more bags of this pasta, this variety and also the penne and spaghetti and it's now a big hit in the family, on the rotation for dinners. I don't know exactly what's different about the ingredients or processing but it is definitely noticeable and everyone that has it enjoys it. Definitely more expensive than your typical supermarket pasta but in my opinion worth every penny.
