This is a good quality, it functions a lot like a black color stain / wax. It's easy to use. And a good value for the money. My 2 year old stove looks new again.

This works super well. The bottle is a good size that I had plenty left over for more uses in a few years. It was reasonably priced, didn't fill the house with odors, and made the wood stove look like new. Burned a bunch of wood over the winter and the color all held up well

Very happy with this. Expected some unpleasant smell in applying NOPE! Went on easily, stove looks better. I've used on a couple other black items too. Haven't lit the stove bc it's summer.

It's taken me a LONG time to write this review vs. just assign stars, but I wanted to share my first experience with this product. My beloved Waterford woodstove is 42 years old, and all it takes to keep it beautiful is an annual cleaning. This product is effective. However, because it's a "thin" liquid, it's VERY messy to use and hard to avoid drips (which are very difficult to clean off a cement floor). My previous stove polish was thick, in a tube vs liquid in a bottle, and easily applied with a cloth and brush.My recommendations are: 1) Wear a very good pair of vinyl gloves or the required rubbing will make holes in your gloves, 2) place newspapers under and around wood stove 3) pour small amounts on a cloth vs brush which will splatter the polish all over the place 4) Prepare to spend more PATIENT time in application vs a thicker product.

After 6 years of using a wood stove, it was time to give it a makeover. With litle bits of rust showing here and there, I needed something to bring back that "new" look it had when I first bought it. I found this polish and thought to give it a try. After a light scrubbing with a scour pad and a good wiping down, I applied the polish with a small brush and then rubbed it in with a piece of cotton cloth. I did this about one week before I was going to use the stove as the weather got a little colder. As expected, the stove smoked a bit as it did when I first bought the stove, so, I opened the windows to allow the smell and smoke to exit the room. The smoke and smell burned off after a couple of burns (as it does when new) and now the stove is so beautiful and without smoke and smell. The polish is just what the wood stove needed and sure does put that "New" look back to my stove. I have a medium size stove and the 8oz bottle has enought in it to polish the stove several more times. This polish applies easily and though I don't know how long this first application will last, I'm very happy with it. This polish is in a liquid form and not like shoe polish (paste). It easily gets into small cracks and crevices and works as intended when applied correctly. Yes, it smokes at first, but the end results are worth it. Y'all take care.

Messy to work with do be careful. Rubbed it in my Woodstove which is 21 years old. Took off rust and seriously looks brand new!!! Great product

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased and applied to my cast iron stove grates approximately 2 years ago. Still hasn’t dried. Makes a mess whenever it’s touched.
