MorphVOX Pro - Voice Changer

The voices are metallic and very fake.I bought this program to create a podcast thinking that I could have created a conversation with different male and female voices.Instead the voices are so fake that are good just to play around with friends or with kids.I didn't find the product good for what it promised to be. And another thing: there are plenty of free software that give the same quality voice output.

Two stars, only because it DID work, for about 6-12 hours from when I installed it. I was able to mess with the voices, and create my 'alias'.However, when I attempted to open the program a second time to test it out with someone on Skype now that they were home, it would not load, and all I get is a 'MorphVOX Pro has stopped working' error.I went to the MorphVOX website--their support section is a JOKE, btw- and emailed tech support. They blamed my computer and sent me a link to download FinallyFast to scan my system (which cost me another $19.95, btw)Oh, but to actually USE FinallyFast (AFTER already paying for it) you have to CALL for it to be activated. At which point, their people want remote access to your computer, and start talking about how you probably have trojan viruses, etc and they spend the next 30 minutes trying to force you to accept their phone tech support to remove these imaginary viruses--to the tune of 3 payments of $120 each.Then, when you've FINALLY convinced them that no, you're not paying anyone that kind of money for something you can do YOURSELF for free (since you work in tech support), they finally quit trying to hijack your computer or force you to talk to their technician, you run the utility (after backing EVERYTHING up to an external hard drive, cuz these people are seriously suspicious), fix the couple of minor registry errors and .NET framework issues it found, and...The program STILL will not work after having uninstalled and reinstalled it.For $40, I'm seriously unimpressed.

It is an excellent program and I if you download it on the computer and start it on Messenger voice is not clear and there is confusion and disruption in the sound which makes it not suitable.

I downloaded the trial version of this product before buying and was very impressed with how easy it is to install and use. You aren't required to read any pdf. tutorials that make your eyes bleed, everything is self explanatory. Morphvox has several different uses, I use it when playing online games to mess with people. It's always fun to make yourself sound like a 13 year old and listen to all the negative comments people give you, "Shut up kid, you probably aren't even old enough to play this game!" It cracks me up everytime. There are many voice presets to use ranging from Sci-Fi androids voices to a high pitched gnome squeeks. You can also just create your own voices with the equalizer. There are a variety of sound effects and background noises if you want people to think you are outdoors or maybe in heavy traffic. You can record your morphed voice in wav. format to use for whatever reason. I use this program in conjunction with Anime Studio 6 to create different voices for the characters i draw, its loads of fun. My only gripe is the price really, you will have to decide whether changing your voice is worth $40. For me it was, but this product lost a star because of it!

Over the years, have purchased probably a dozen "voice-changing" software packages - some analog and others digital - with several individual voices (digital) costing $30 or more per voice selection. And when it's all said and done, STILL SOUNDS DIGITAL! Screaming Bee Morph-VOX is hands-down, the very best I've ever owned and at 40 bucks, nothing can touch it. For those of you that use Crazy-Talk 7 or Crazy-Talk 7 Animator, your "voice problems" are over!!

I bought this and it never worked. My computer would not read the disk. I returned it and did not buy another one. I will see if there is a version I can download instead

Waste of money for me, my daughter doesn't use it at all

I was surprised when I first used this. I installed it quickly on my laptop and then followed the instructions. I had guessed that since it wasn't expensive, that it wouldn't be that great. I was only looking for something simple any way. But to my surprise, it was better than I expected for the price. Obviously it can't do everything the more expensive programs can do... but if you're needing a voice changer for games or recordings, this works. I found I could use it with Skype, or other recording equipment. I could take wma or mp3 digital recordings and by just clicking a tab, it would change it to the voice I had picked. Again, simple but works well for me. I recommend it to my friends. And a few of them got one of their own.
