50 colors! There are so many different shades that I can fade colors for a more impactful page. I am not an artist, but the colors are so easy to use and beautiful. I love that I don’t have to color with pressure to change the brightness, I can just grab the next shade. I don’t care for the carrying case. It is large and bulky. It does allow you to see all the colors and sort them by groups to see shades, but it is large to carry on the go. I will probably find a pencil box or something. I like that they fit in a slot and will not destroy the tips of the pencil, but again, too large for portability. I attached a couple of pages that I colored for you to see how well the colors work. Best buy I found on Amazon for coloring pencils with plenty of colors and shades to choose from rather than just your primary colors or a basic pack. The colors sharpen well without the lead breaking and wasting most of the pencil. They sharpen to a very fine point easily with a hand sharpener. A couple of times, the lead would break when I pushed a little too hard so I would say these pencils are a harder lead and not softer. Although I received a discount for my review of this product, I, as many other Amazon shoppers, rely heavily on the un-biased opinions of other reviewers. Hey if you want colored pencils that when you sharpen them they won't break and nice colors and get for shaping and shading this is it. and in a nice case too. great deal. Try them you will be glad this is my option The truth and I DID NOT GET THEM FREE GET IT just the truth

Works well until you sharpen it, once sharpened the nib breaks off, this happened with me to 3 pencils i tried sharpening now they are almost to 1/3rd the size for trying to sharpening the pencil.

I wish that they had what I call peach tone or flesh tone for coloring people. I use that color so much as a base then applying another layer to get whatever the skin tone of the person I am drawing/coloring. In fact, I could use 2 to a pkg. Another, this is the first time I have seen a color printed on the pencils. As far as coloring they seem to be okay and offer a variety.

The pencils don't have the name of the color, and I couldn't retrieve the coloring pages, because it wants me to have a Facebook account, that socks. So I took a loss, because now I have to go out and buy coloring books.

My wife truly enjoys the variety of colors that this set of colors offers. There isnt all the black, browns and greys in this set which is what I'm looking for when purchasing colored pencils. Thank you Elite Art we will be ordering more in the future.

They are very light and seem to have a lot of oil/greese in them. They are almost impossible to blend, for that reason..I will stick to Prisma Color.. They are fine for little kids, but not recommended for real artist..
