NG Water Heater Burner for Model BFG 50T40 or Series 100

It worked exactly as it should. It was nice to have hot water again.

It states its would fit my brand of water heater but one component on the part was not compatible.

it fits my natural gas whirlpool water heater good perfect fit & with no problems at all heating up my water good choice so thumbs up with this burner unit

I had to cut a way a 1/2 inch lower metal piece from the lower portion of the burner front encloser because my water heater had no air inlet at the base of the water heater. Burning gas heaters has to have inlet air in order to work properly.I also had to remover the pilot light unit and use a small needle to slightly increase the pilot opening size two allow a larger glowing gas pilot light in order to allow the unit to functioning properly. After this minor modification the unit now works fine.

Ordered this product and it came from one of Amazon’s small business partners. It came quicker then expected and was perfect quality. Unfortunately my hot water heater was just a little too old and this was for a newer model. Contacted the seller and the return was easy and pain less. 10/10 would order through them again

I liked the fast delivery but the gas hose on the part was too short for me to use so I had to send it back.

After several searches for Whirlpool parts, I discovered this part. I looked exactly like the original. I guess Whirlpool is out of business but American Water Heaters must have been making parts for them. This Fit Exactly into my Whirlpool N40T61-343 50 gallon water heater. All connections matched (gas and Electric). It was a little expensive...I saw it on Lowe's website for $49.99 but it was unavailable and on backorder at the time. Cold showers suck!!!
