Great low-power CPU for NAS server
This CPU was used for my NAS server. It works on Ubuntu server and Gentoo Linux (did a test on other Linux Distros) without any problems. I installed OpenMediaVault as my OS of choice.Since this CPU was released near the beginning this year, if you are upgrading your cpu, your itx mobo may need a firmware update. In my case I my recently purchased ASRock AM1H-ITX motherboard was had the updated firmware already. For those Interested, Here is my NAS build:CPU: Athlon 5370Motherboard: ASRock AM1H-ITXRAM: Consair XMS 16 GB(2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600Case: Apex DS-539 w/ power supply(275w)SSD(OS): 120GB 2.5" Toshiba Q-Series SSDHDD(Data): 2 x 1TB 3.5 HDD (one Seagate Barracuda and one Western Digital Blue)Operating System: OpenMediaVault 2.1I use my NAS to backup my data via Samba on my Windows and Linux computers.

Works great for our machines
Great processor for our needs at a great price. I am not a big time processor critic, I just know it works for our systems setups and it does not break the bank. Quad-core, no issues with hardware, staff is happy at work. We used these processors with ASRock AM1H-ITX motherboards, 8GB memory systems, and never had a problem.

Tiny and fast!
Quick little processor, with a tiny heatsink/fan to match, some reviews stated that the fan was lacking, but mine is working great and runs silent so far!

Fast and low power consumption
Pretty fast little APU! I combined it with a 750TI [...] here's the video of using it in a custom build

Processor defective, Beach Audio wouldn't take return.
The processor I got was defective. It took me a while to figure it out, because I had to get another motherboard, which I thought might be defective, and then another. And then find someone with a processor I could try. Eventually, I determined it was the processor that was defective. Yes, the MB did support it, and I had the right BIOS. The processor was bad. This took a bit over 30 days, maybe a week. The seller refused to take the return, and instead directed me to call AMD. They gave me a non-working number there. Defective processors are quite rare, so I doubt it's a big problem for AMD. But, get it from a different company. These guys not only don't support what they sell, but they also give bad information to contact the company. So, they're not a great choice.Addendum:AMD sent me a replacement processor and it worked. It was still too slow, so I just bit the bullet and bought an Intel i3-6100T. These processors are fine for very simple things, but anything more and you're going to want something faster. They are cheap, and don't use a lot of power, but the performance is frustrating at times. Other times it's fine, but it's never crisp. I'd avoid these and Intel's Atoms for anything more than very simple computer use; even certain websites made it very slow.Intel's Pentium (based on Haswell or Skylake, not the Atom-based ones) are going to be better for the vast majority of people though, and they're fairly cheap as well. I only bought the i3-6100t for the very low power use, not the performance.
