Bought this to replace one i already had that didnt auto open and close and was fiddly to put my phone in. Works great and is sturdy the only down side is it doesnt fast charge as advertised. I have a samsung galaxy s21 and when i first mounted it i got a message saying this device is not compatible with fast charging so that was really disappointing hence the 4 stars.

The media could not be loaded.  My car pre-dates the original iPhone so it wasn't designed with anywhere in mind to put your phone when driving to use Waze etc., so I bought this to make it possible. I was really impressed with the quality of the phone holder, it's USB-C which is very nice and comes with a long USB-A cable. The mount comes with the option to suction mount to your windscreen or dashboard as well as a vent mount. I've never liked suction mounts, even though this one does seem well built, so I used the vent mount.I've used vent mounted phone holders before and they've not gripped the vent properly and would then fall out as soon as you accelerated, this mount however supports my large iPhone XS Max perfectly as well as fitting it fine, despite being a large phone. I used an old iPod touch in my video demonstration which is about the size of an iPhone 5 and it grips that fine too.The wireless charging works perfectly even through the case on my iPhone, just ensure you've got a 12v to USB-A adapter or built-in USB-A ports in the car to use.Overall I'd recommend the Gaosaili Wireless Car Charger.

Good. Charger mount has good suction and sticks to the windscreen well; Charger arms work well, holding the phone secure, are quiet and sound good quality;Bad. The charger pad lights up to indicate "charging/not charging" and so if there is no phone in the cradle then the light is on (either red or green) which is fine until you are driving at night and its just too bright (unless you put a phone in the cradle); The charger mount is flimsy and allows the phone to wobble in its cradle, could be a lot more secure.

This thing is really neat. Comes with a suction pad and a long hinged arm for mounting, and a vent clip. I used the vent clip and it was solid and stable. It plugs in via the supplied USB-A to USB-C lead (USB-C on the phone holder). When plugged into to power, it glows gently.Then comes the cool bit - it has a infra red sensor, and as you put your phone close to it, the motorised gripping arms at the side and bottom open up. As soon as your phone is in place, the arms close to grip your phone gently but securely. My iPhone 11 started charging immediately, no need to remove it from its silicone case. A gentle tug removes the phone again.I'm not sure how much power it uses in standby mode - my accessory socket is only live when the ignition is on. If yours is permanently live (not common these days), you'll probably want to unplug it if you're not using your car for a while.I'm really impressed by this - it feels like a much more expensive bit of kit than it actually is.

Have been using this for a few weeks now and it seems to be working really well.Pros1. It seems pretty strong and sturdy. I have once had to push the suction down again but that is fine.2. There are no silly lights on the unit, so nothing is lit up when you don’t have a phone in.3. Automatic open works really well and has a good grasp of the phone (I have an iPhone)ConsIt seems to still take a charge when the car is turned off which is a shame. I assumed it did not.Overall I would recommend it, I have ordered quite a few and sent them back because of the back light issue. This one works well.

Great piece of kit — every driver should get this if using your phone for satnav! Easy to mount (I use mine on air vent but other arrangements provided for), robust, smart and attractive design, and does what you need — the wireless charging is very good, especially for anyone whose phone’s lightning port is getting loose and charging cables detach easily.

This is a useful little unit, the side grips are a little short, but manage to grip my phone in its otterbox case.Charging works through the case successfully.I have a more expensive unit which is better, but this is great for under £20

Usb cable didn't work, had to use one of my own apart from that it's ok
