This is a great alarm clock! The screen is easy to read, it's easy to turn the backlight on/off. Great for travel or for everyday use at home. The price is terrific and the service is great. The screen shows the time, when the alarm is set for, the date and the room temperature.

IPDATE: I kept needing to adjust the time because it was really fast. Then, it stopped working after only a month.I needed a cheap clock that I could see in the dark for my baby's room. This works great. It has a sensor on the top that you can turn on or off. When it's on and the lighting is dim, a backlight comes on so you can see the clock in the dark. The light stays on all night or until you turn in the lights. It's not too bright that it disturbs my son's sleep. I also love that it's battery-operated because the less cords in the baby's room, the safer it is. I tried the alarm (not that I need it) and it works. I debated buying the other clock on Amazon that looks exactly the same but sells for a little more. In the description for that one, it stated that it's the better made one, but I think that's just a marketing gimmick to charge more money.

This is a great alarm clock! Very effective and great value for the price. It might take a little while to get used to it, the directions weren't that clear.

Poor quality, we used only a week

Great for the price but viewing angle is all but nothing if you are eye level with the display. It's only viewable when you're looking down at the clock. If you're going to put it on a bedside table that's lower than you're bed that's great, but their are viewing angle problems when you place this on a high kitchen counter, wall mount it or anything that doesn't give you a 45% downward viewing angle toward the device. The numbers are nice and crisp with a head on view, but fade fast into undiscernable smear of lcd numbers if you're not looking downward at the device.

Everything about this clock works fine, except the alarm. I put in 3 fresh batteries. It displays the correct time, date & temperature as described. But the alarm only sounded the first time I set it, causing me to miss an important meeting tonight. I tried several times to get the alarm to activate, even changing the AM/PM thinking that they might have it backwards. But no alarm. I am returning it to Amazon for a refund. I'll buy a name brand clock that I can trust.

This little lightweight clock is perfect for a kids room. I have one sitting on a little shelf on top bunk of my child's bed. The batteries kept popping out as I was trying to install them, or I would have give a perfect 5 star rating. Perfect as a leightweight basic alarm clock. Battery operated, no plug in.
