Amateur Home Auto Mechanic Approved (so far)
As background on my skill level, I am definitely in the realm of an amateur home mechanic. All I've done so far has been with the help of Youtube videos (e.g. changing oils, tire rotation, fixing flat tires, etc.). I got the Compact set since I already had some of the necessary tools like pliers, etc. No instructions included with the set but seemed intuitive enough except for the Cement Glue, which I did not end up using. I have no basis for comparison as far as this Compact set but worked pretty well. Only time will tell if my plugged tire holds up.As a general guide of how to use this set...1) While the car is still on the ground, loosen up the lug nuts2) Then jack it up and take off the lug nuts completely3) Take tire off and locate source of puncture. If you can't see it right away, spray or pour a soapy water solution all around the tire and see where the bubbles start forming. That's where the air is coming out. The bubbles will be very apparent.4) Remove source of puncture5) Use the reamer (the one that's sort of braided at the end) to widen up the puncture, using a rotating motion up and down. You want to make sure the reamer gets pretty deep inside the picture. With some muscle, I was able to push it mostly to almost where the reamer braided part ends. Once that's done, take out the reamer using the same rotating motion outwards.6) Put one of the black sticky plugs into the other tool inside the large hole. The plug is round and the hole on the tool is sort of flat. What I did was sort of flatten the end of the plug to where it fits inside the hole, and then used pliers to pull it through. Position the plug roughly halfway on each side of the hole.7) Using the same motion, push the plug inside the puncture about 3/4 of the way through.8) Take out the tool using same rotating motion outwards. Most of the plug should remain inside the puncture.9) Spray/pour soapy solution over puncture to make sure no bubbles coming out. If no bubbles, you've successfully plugged the puncture.10) Cut off excess plug or leave it, up to you.11) Mount tire back on car.12) Tighten lug nuts13) Lower jack14) If you own a torque wrench, now is the time (when the car is off the jack) to tighten the lug nuts using your car's specific pressure. If you don't own a torque wrench, just make sure to tighten the lug nuts as much as you can where it doesn't move. Don't want the tire to come rolling off when you're driving lol15) Done

The reviews speak for themselves
Like many others on here the reviews speak for themselves. The kit itself is nice small and compact. It can fit under a seat behind a seat in a glove box you name it.I’m what some would call. A weekend off-roader. I take my truck (2015 4D Tacoma) all over the place. It’s my daily driver and my weekend of fun car. Having this kit added to the gear I carry in the car is a real peace of mind to have both on and off road.As someone who goes off the beaten path and ends up in some pretty isolated not easy to get to locations quality of the gear I carry is important. It’s bad enough to not have what you need to get your vehicle back up and running and to get you back safely but to have something that is cheap and might break while using it or when you desperately need it is even worse. I was torn between buying the known brand ARB version of this kit but at 2x the price point That was a hard pass. The quality on this kit is plenty good to get the job done. Yes the handle is a plastic or ABS type of material but that doesn’t necessarily come back as “cheap” like some would think. It’ll do what you need it to.OverallPro:-Affordable price-quality is not bad at all-small and compact so it will fit most anywhere-comes with more than enough plugs to get the job done-peace of mind, helping yourself or others on the side of the road you decide.-customer service is more than outstanding. Never have I had a company hit me up as much times as I have had this one to make sure I was happy with my order.Cons:-Some would say it needs to have a metal handle. It does not...-designed in US manufactured else where (doesn’t bother me but it might bothers others)

A must have if you pull trailers or own ATVs/UTVs
I don't know what it is about trailer tires but they seem to be a magnet for nails, screws, small lag bolts, etc. A spare tire is always the first and correct answer but if you end up with a nail in your spare you don't want to be stranded on the side of the road. Currently have a plug in one of my tires on my 20ft tandem axle utility trailer and it has held up great for many miles. We ride ATVs and UTVs often in rocky terrain, so each machine has one of these kits in them. I bought a kit to give to my in-laws for their machine as well. They take up virtually no space and it's silly not to have a tire plug kit on hand. You also can't go wrong with a Milwaukee M18 inflator to top off your tires since you'll likely have lost air from the puncture.I have the large full size kit as well that I keep in my truck just in case.
