I must say I was pleasantly surprised in the quality of this product. I was expecting a light weight chrome piece but when I opened the box I could tell it was an awesome quality product made to last. In fact it is better quality than the stock BLACK belt guard.Very happy with the purchase and the look.Install took less than 20 minutes. No instructions included but very easy to install. No need to jack or lift the bike, in fact the weight of the bike off a lift helps. Simply remove the nut on the shock bolt ( DON'T REMOVE THE BOLT, NO NEED). Remove the right side hex screw and bolt near the passenger peg. Old Belt Guard will slide out to the right, be careful not to scratch up the oil cover as your pulling it out. Slide the new one into place, tighten the nut back into the shock bolt and the hex screw and bolt on the right side and you're done. Easy pezzy!It completed my chrome upgrades but I'm sure I'll find something else to upgrade.2013 Sportster XL 1200C

The belt guard is very well made, heavy gauge metal and good chrome plating. However, it does not fit exactly right and rubs the belt. The belt is adjusted right and tracking straight. Had to bend the guard twice to get it to fit right. Doesn’t look right now so I probably will put the stock one back on or get one from Harley. I don’t recommend this product to anyone.

When I receive the belt guard, there were 3 blemishes on the chrome (pretty easy to see them). Not sure if it happened during shipping or of it was that way before it left their distribution center. Either way it wasn't perfect. Also, I mounted it exactly like the previous one that broke. The problem was that the new one rubbed the frame when the swing arm moved from shock compression. I had to add a few extra washers to allow enough space for everything to work correctly. I thought it was going to be a cheap and easy replacement, but it needed adjustments and the product didn't meet my expectations.

Had one with 3 big scratches, but Biker's Choice took good care of me. Sent a picture, boom, new item. The chrome still looks great after a few months and a lot of miles.Update: Mine broke at the front mounting hole. Lasted about 3 years. Chrome still looks good, but this seems to be a problematic area.

I really like this belt guard. It appears well made and the fit was perfect on my 2012 Sporty. It looks great and the price is considerably less than the stock HD guard. 5 stars at this point.

Chrome is excellent and easy to mount on the bike. I like it.
