Best value out there for cheap durable lights.
I’ve bought three three-packs of these nifty little lights, and I love them. I was first made aware of these as backpacking lights, and they excel in that usage because they’re lightweight, sturdy, and seem to last forever. You wouldn’t think they’d put out much light, but in the dark of a campsite, trail, or dark house, they’re way more than adequate, blinding even if shined directly in the eyes. I once walked four miles down a dangerous desert mountain trail after dark by the light of one of these, and it never flickered or faltered. I keep finding more uses for them. I keep one on my nightstand for night time trips to the bathroom without disturbing my sleeping wife. I keep one or two in each of my vehicles, and I once changed a tire in the dark using this light held between my teeth to do it. I keep one in every room of my house for light when the power goes off, as it often does out here in ranch country. We just turn them on and stand them up on the battery and light up the house. I like this particular brand out of all the brands I’ve tried because the switch is sturdy and firm and won’t turn on in a pocket or a purse and drain the battery, but the most amazing thing about these lights when snapped onto a 9v battery is the longevity.of their light. I honestly don’t know how long they’d shine if just left on, but judging by how long they last in normal usage, which is literally years on one battery, I’d have to guess that they’d last days if not weeks just left on. Its quite an ingenious and amazing little invention, and this particular offer from Amazon are the best I’ve found. They snap onto a 9v battery tight and stay on and the switch is strong and reliable. In lesser brands, those are the only two weaknesses I’ve found, brands that don’t fit tightly to the battery and have weak and easily engaged switches that turn on accidentally. This brand solves those problems. Excellent product and great emergency light.I’m even still using one of these that I got bacon grease on while camping. My dog stole it off my chair and chewed on it until she broke the plastic case. By the time I caught her, the back side of the.case was cracked and part of it was lost, exposing the inner electronics. I thought it was ruined, but the switch still worked and the light came on, so I wrapped the case in electrical tape and threw it in the console of my truck. That was three years ago, and the light is still working, as is the battery, and it’s one of my two truck lights. Talk about resilience and reliability. These things are nearly bulletproof.

Perfect for travel or emergencies
These are a great little invention. Just connect to a 9 V battery and these LED flashlights will work for a long time. Two brightness settings provide excellent light. These are great for emergencies, having around the house for quick use, or travel because they are small enough to just throw them in your toiletries bag. Really wonderful idea and very useful.

Nice little pocket light
They put out plenty of light for what they are. About what I expected. It would take 6 AAA's to get the voltage of one 9V...and the higher voltage equals lower amp draw...which increases runtime. How small this is compared to 6 AAA's in a series holder is what this thing is all about...and it works great in this sense. A compact, long lasting light source. The fact that they will sit upright on their own or can be held in your mouth easily while leaving both hands free to work are big pluses. I put one in the passenger compartment of both my cars for quick access to an emergency light. My main complaint is that I went to try one of my lights on a different battery and the contact broke off. Still works if I press it down and tape it real well...but it's not something I would trust as an emergency item. Which brings me to my other complaint...price. Wouldn't be such a bummer...but these aren't necessarily cheap and I now have 2 for the price of 3. Makes it kind of a toss-up between getting more of these or a single AAA aluminum bodied flashlight.

Super compact & perfect !
Kinda hard to fit on some 9 volt batteries -BUT doable - I keep one on my nightstand and in my travel bag - nice subtle light if you get up in the night ….

Great little lights
These things work better than I would ever think they could. They are perfect for little nightlights, flashlights, or just small area lighting in a power outage. I love them, and I only bought them to give purpose to the rechargeable 9v batteries I bought, which as it turned out I had no devices to use with (my radio's battery slot is apparently dead somehow, and I never found other 9v devices. Everything either built-in Li-Ion or AA/AAA)

What a great idea
Just plug one of these onto a 9 volt battery and you have a flashlight. It's pocket size and you have two brightness choices. I use them with (slightly) used 9 volt batteries that I've taken out of other devices. They still have plenty of juice left to be useful. These are inexpensive and make a nice little pocket flashlight...and you can get use out of those 9 volt batteries that you have laying around. (Well, I do.)

Bright lights
These lights are really bright, they are great to put around the house when you lose power. The battery lasts a long time and they have 2 different brightness settings. They are good quality and very portable. This is a great value and a peace of mind in case of a power outage.

LOVE these .... really!
I LOVE these things!OK, second purchase. Bought two on a sale and loved them so much I bought these three!IF you are just looking - they push onto the standard 9-volt battery and have a switch for high - off - low. Simple. Works. Bright! The battery CAN get hot during use. They do not clip onto anything, no magnet to attach while working, no gimmicks or fun things or extras - just an emergency flashlight with great power and ease of use.FYI - I am not sure if they would be very good in a "water" situation unless you find a way to rubberize the point where the light meets the battery - shouldn't be hard, though! Also, watch the heat.I THINK these might be useful if you are storing 9-volt batteries loose in draw - a very VERY dangerous thing and these would cap them to make them safer.
