Lion Brand Yarn Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn, Soft and Bulky Yarn for Knitting, Crocheting, and Crafting, 1 Skein, Moonlight

I bought two skeins; an initial purchase and then a follow up purchase to complete a piece of knitting. I had carefully joined both skeins by knitting the second one in as I came to the end of the first skein to avoid an unsightly knot. 66 rows of knitting later a flaw appeared in the yarn. I.e, initially hidden inside the skein. On close examination, I found that one strand had broken and had been knotted together. So, I now have not only a knot in my knitting but also a tuft which stands out. I will definitely NOT be purchasing any more yarn from this manufacturer.10th Oct - I continued with my knitting. To my horror, after another 100 rows, close to the end of the piece of knitting, there was a second break which had been knotted together and hidden in the ball of yarn. This was the worst follow up purchase in a long, long time. My previous decision to never buy again from this manufacturer is confirmed.

A high-quality yarn, beautiful colour. Wish they sold in multiples too so it would be more value for money.The Coriander green one (see photo) is a lot more vibrant in person than what the photo I took shows, it really doesn't do it justice.100% recomend - i keep coming back for more from this brand

I bought this wool to make a scarf as one of my first knitting projects. It's a wonderful wool! Soft, warm and springy. It definitely helped me through winter!

I purchased this wool and knitted a beanie hat over the course of a couple of days for my partner back in late 2014. There was enough wool in one ball for a M/L sized hat with pompom. He wears the hat almost every day in winter and it has fared really well through two winters. It's warm and not scratchy and this colour is really nice!Picture shows hat March 2016 after two winter's wear.

Great for quick projects. Doesn't seperate the strands while crocheting and such vivid colours. The picture definitely doesn't reflect the colour. I only bought it because I couldn't find any other brand suitable abs available. But i would buy it again, any time
