Had my original fitting fail last night and was glad I had already bought these for spares. Took longer to get my tools together than change out the fitting. The fitting fit snuggly in the Manablock and have no leaks. Went from having a major problem at 8:00 at night to having water shortly after installing the fitting.

Seems to be a really good tool and it is easier to use then the ratcheting steel clamp tool that it is replacing. My old ratcheting clamp tool started jamming constantly, so I bought this and it is a big improvement. Although this cannot be used one handed, I usually had to use 2 hands to ratchet down the old one all of the way anyhow. This tool is actually much easier to use then the old one, it is designed like a like a small bolt cutter so it does not take much force crimp the rings. It requires a bit more space to use then a ratcheting steel clamp tool, also there has to be enough room around the fitting to for the tool to fit all of the way around the fitting instead of just reaching the tab on a clamp. The build quality seems great and the design is simple so I expect this tool to last through many years of home use.

Definitely buy with Manifold!

Have to get for the manifold, wish it came with these but not too big deal.

For whatever reason, the Manabloc manifold never came with the inlet connection, so I thought simply hooking up connectors from a hardware store would solve it. Nope! You need these connections for the Manablock manifold. Easy to install and no leaks!
