Are the planets proportionate? Sün forinstance?

They are somewhat proportionate as the image shows. The Sun is the largest and the other planets are some scaled version of themselves (the directions explain the scaled sizes). However, as another buyer said, the proportions are not as accurate as possible as the Sun would be giant and everything else minuscule. As this inflatable solar system is more for display or demonstrative purposes, it is a great start but not the exact scale replica that older scientists might want to look at. It was great fun for my 3rd grade students and a lovely addition to the classroom decor.

Can we use helium instead of air?

You can add Helium to them but they would be too heavy to float. They would probably leak, as well.

Are these flame-proof?
